I can't believe this still is needed but religious and gun control side discussions will be met with harsh penalties from page 52 and onwards.

So I guess this IS extreme islamist terror after all, despite what people have been saying or?

The Labor youth shooting definitely wasn't Jihadist, and it would be a huge coincidence if the attacks were unrelated.

Certainly not.

Your link is old news. There are probably half a dozen random little groups that claimed responsibility for this attack, that's just the one group whose claim spread across the internet for a while. The claim was also retracted hours ago via the same channels.

Islamic groups tend to jump to take responsibility for anything and everything. One group has already said it was them, then said it wasn't them. Since the suspect seem to have no such ties or sympathies what so ever, we can probably just assume small extremist groups are trying to get their 15min of fame.

Well it's from the new york times, and at this point it's all over the news in different papers...

I'm just quoting from this link, that got it from other sites...

islamic organizations have a long history of claiming they were behind random terrorist acts without it actually having been the case.

One other thing that bothers me on that note. If he's actually really smart, I cannot for the life of me think where he got the idea that brutally murdering your own countrymen, even if they are your political opponents, will further your point-of-view.

From a logical standpoint in the least, it just seems quite retarded. If anything, to further his point, he should've tried to stay anonymous and let the bomb do it's fear mongering(and skip the island). With all these terrorist groups ready and willing to take the heat for any terrorist attack, it'd have made a lot more sense.

But then again, trying to make sense of madmans actions can be a waste of time :/

From my experience smart people are especially prone to poor decision making. I'd even go as far as to say he probably did not have a mental illness.

The decision making is poor in that way but for what ever reason he had to go rampage like this, the island was a genious decision geographical to make a suprise attack.

Also how he used the bomb in Oslo to get to the island as a armed policeman without any suspicions, AND how the cops took forever to get to the island because all their attention was in Oslo and the bomb and possibly more bombs.

Are you aware of the fact that the conversion to Islam have skyrocketed after September 2001 ?

We live in pacific societies where everything is under control, that's why these kind of actions fascinate people.
Human's psychology is sick.

Even when it has been proved that "islam" or "immigrants" have nothing to do with this crimes, and that the probable murderer is a conservative christian white blond guy, you still come here to foster prejudice, using fear to advance the anti-muslim agenda?

Indeed. People just believe it because they want to believe that muslims do everything bad in this world.
