A guy is sick, can't play his matches, and you want to rally up some great crusade against him? Clearly its a lack of integrity disrespect for the community and competition, not like...a guy getting sick. Next MLG should have a good ol' lynching party outside, I'm sure we can find some trees to hang PainUser's corpse from for such a dastardly deed!

Get real, its a PROFESSIONAL event, would you accept it if a basketball player just...didnt show up to the game? Its not acceptable and frankly just makes all this stuff seem so childish, highschoolish, amateurish, etc. People pay money and apologists excuse them for basically wasting their money, great idea. At the end of the day, its not that big of a deal, but making up excuses to their benefit is pathetic and in no way helps the integrity of the "sport" at all. NASL isn't esports, it isn't a professional event. The only people who watch the NASL are people too stingy to pay for the GSL. People complain about players not taking the NASL seriously. How can you blame them when the whole show seems so shoddy? Incontrol just massages his ego, gretorp shrieks like a girl, and they both have this horrific wannabe-tastosis vibe that's just offputting and forced. Their weird system of broadcasting a recorded show cast from replays is just bonkers. Maybe that became a rant, but the point is, how can you expect people like painuser to take this tournament seriously when it clearly doesn't deserve it?

Sorry he hasn't played up to your expectations. EDIT: He also had to cancel his appearance on ITG and EGMC this week because of his illness.

Even if he were blacklisted by events (which he probably is now) it doesn't really matter seeing as hes no longer a player. Seeing as his full-time job is with IGN, the host of the IPL, you think IGN is gonna remove him from being an IPL caster? A player choosing to not show up for a match and dropping out of an online league doesn't hurt the credibility of StarCraft, just the player. Did you freak out when TLO dropped out of EPS as well? Or like the other 100 times over the last year since beta when a Player has had to no-show due to circumstances when he definitely can't make the match or tell anyone about it? For gods sake, this isn't half the shitstorm that Artosis Vs Slush made in beta and that lasted like 2 days before everyone forgot about it until I just mentioned it...
