BTW, for those thinking that Blizzard has "gave up" on Brood War - you're wrong fellows. Blizzard still supports games like Diablo I and WarCraft II Battle.Net Edition and patches them when needed. I wouldn't be surprised to see patches and fixes come out for Diablo II long after we're "done with" Diablo III. They just care ! :D

Do you see rainbow or washed out colors in StarCraft on Windows 7? If you are experiencing washed out or rainbow colors in StarCraft, forcing Windows DirectDraw to run the game under a compatibility mode may resolve your issue. We have a pre-set registry key that you can apply to enable it. 32-bit Windows 7 - http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/starcraft/scbw116_x86.reg 64-bit Windows 7 - http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/starcraft/scbw116_x64.reg Save the registry file on your desktop, then double-click on it to apply the key. Once it is applied, start the game. If you do not know if you have a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows, click on your Start menu, then right-click on Computer and select Properties. The window that pops up will tell you if you're running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows. Note: This registry key will only work for StarCraft version 1.16. If you have an earlier or later version, the compatibility mode will not work. It also does not work on the game's cinematics. Alt+tabbing may cause it to go back to having washed out or rainbow colors. Solution ID: 36371
