I'm actually surprised IdrA has more votes than DRG, and to a lesser extent losira i'm actually thinking sen is better than idra. they met several times which sen has won. his results are 3rd place NASL, 3rd place blizzcon. meanwhile idra won IEM guangzhou and ASUS ROG STAR which are not as big as NASL or blizzcon. unfortunately sen didn't play as many tournaments as idra.

It seems like a tradition with all the "Who is the _____ king?" threads. IdrA played great and according to sc2earnings.com, he's now 11th on the all-time SC2 prize money list: http://sc2earnings.com/ (And he's still only the 3rd highest earner on Evil Geniuses. >_<) (I'll give you 3 guesses on who the other two EG guys are. >_<) Long live the king? Haha ![]() Definitely one of the best Zerg foreigners, but definitely not even close to Nestea. Even IdrA knows that Nestea is the best Zerg player in the world. It really can't be argued. Bump wasn't really needed ![]()

But I don't know if in a mlg tournament system he would perform 2/3 as good as he can. He is "old" and I don't know if he is endurant, plus he isn't used to travel, which can be quite a disadvantage. But yeah in pure skill nestea is the best right now, I can't think to anyone close to him.

Do people just ignore his losses? Even just in just simple, direct head to head records, MorroW, Nerchio and Sen are all beating him. Honestly if he wasn't IdrA would anyone have really paid much attention to his results.. it'd be like Gatored taking a few series from Koreans.

Other players might do better in a certain matchup, like July's ZvZ (Still not as good as Nestea's..), or DRG's ZvT. However, when taking everything into consideration, you really can't deny Losira's general well-rounded brilliance. Wait what. July's ZvZ is HORRENDOUS.

It's so incredibly obvious that Nestea is the best Zerg in the world that I'm baffled why this thread even exists. Agreed. It's unquestionably NesTea. Sure there are some up-and-coming Zergs, and some other very solid zergs, but in no way are any of them better than NesTea.

You're not thinking this through, stephano, nestea, sen etc. dont play NEARLY as many LANs as someone like idra. This does two things: you're exposed to a lot less players, meaning the sample size is a lot smaller, and going to so many tournaments in a row can be detrimental to results as you have no time to practice. If we made nestea play in every random tournament i guarantee he would lose to some random european from time to time, but as it stands nestea only plays GSL and went to blizzcon. It's simply not fair to bring up random losses to unknowns in this case.

You're also not realizing that the guys that are sent over seas to beat people like idra are the ones nestea beats in gsl. That's why they're sent over, because they're out of the gsl.

Actually I think Gatored more resembles Nerchio than idra does. People don't ignore idra's losses, but you have to realize that idra's tlpd only consists of him in large tournaments. As opposed to a lot of european players, who play smaller weekly cups. Not to mention that the level of opponent idra has beaten is much higher than the level of opponent any of the players you mentioned have beaten (except perhaps Sen).
