i think it's an ok pickup. There are already 2 good T players in sixjax (dde and mihai). I think the tean need more P players. But Kitty will probably fit well in the team since they're mostly really young dudes. Good luck to him.

He left ROOT not too long after they got their three major sponsors. He bailed on All 4 One to join ROOT (read it in the post about him leaving ROOT, I could very well be wrong). Granted, it didn't seem like he was clicking with the other team members anyway, but the money would have been there had he stayed with ROOT.

Actually, Juan (gositerran) said himself that he felt he deserved to get paid and ROOT didn't agree. He team hopped until he got a salary + expenses covered, so yeah, I'd say he's here for the money.

There's something elegant about this post I really like. Anyway, I think Artosis made a good pickup. If anyone, Artosis is the most well fit captain for Terran and it will work out well.

He needs to be funded to go to events and the like. Apparently ROOT's sponsors were only trial sponsors, meaning they wouldn't pay for travel expenses yet. Basically the same thing qxc did. He needed a team that would be able to send him places to play, as it is very expensive to try to pay for that on your own... especially if you are training 8+ hours a day.
I think it's a great pickup, and I hope that Juan stays there. Artosis will be sure to devote a lot of his time to improving Juan's play, and I think that he will be able to post great results in tournaments really soon.

QXC has built a name for himself in SC2.
The Mexican 'Superstar' has yet to accomplish anything other than what we know from his BW play. Artosis is using the Korean model to recruit; the kid has great mechanics in BW and he's super fast. You hear this one a lot. The same could be said about players like Flash and July when they were discovered. It's a solid foundation, but they still had to earn it..
I'm a firm believer in earning your own keep. In Root, it sounds like he didn't earn anything yet. I'm sorry, you don't get the BoxeR treatment on your previous limited successes.
Gosi has low mileage in SC2 and he wants everything handled to him on a silver platter? It doesn't work that way everywhere. It's fortunate situation for him. That's all.

People using the site use it knowing the situation they are gambling on. If they win something they chances are they won whatever at a much lower cost to them. The people that lost knew they were gambling on it. You can't really knock a site for auctioning stuff in a unique manner, if people wanna do it then they will, it's not like the site is stealing money from them.
On topic though: Hope it works out well for sixjax, the line up looks pretty good from what I've seen so far.
