The better question is when haven't they had problems with the servers/stream?

Sigh, starting to lose a lot of trust with MLG's broadcast capabilities...every single one of their broadcasts has been laden with errors...they really really need to get this sorted out...who is going to want to pay for premium services they peddle when every single MLG the first entire day of the show the broadcast never seems to work right?
I'd at least hope they have a reasonable explanation their the only tournament that consistently has issues with their stream every single time...so 'its the internet common' is kind of a cop out when it's really only your tournament always having problems.

I'm on the site but it says "The stream will begin momentarily" I'm not gonna touch the webpage for fear it might crash again Hoping they fix this soon, I need me some KiWiKaKi!!!

They host multiple games, thus they have multiple times the viewer count than most venues do.
150,000+ people probably spamming f5 on their website right now dude.
Chill your shit.

It's either their locations or piss poor planning. I know to get the bandwidth that they need takes a long time to get set up (in most cases unless the venue is already set up for this). I really wonder how far out in advanced that they plan these events out.

MLG really needs to take steps to correct this in the future, having a 30-60min delay is unacceptable for paying customers.

I paid them for something I'm not getting, it's that simple. They can have all the problems they want (less the fact that it'll erk viewers) if nobody is paying. That's not the case a lot of people pay for their HQ stream, the last 3 tournaments the entirety of day 1 was rought with streaming issues.
They are the only tournament having so many issues with their stream consistently, it's clear and cut they don't get a pass because it's 'hard' to stream to the people who paid for it.

IEM had their fare share of problems too

Does anyone know if MLG use something like P2P for their streams? my household is complaining about the lag whenever I have it on

This is and update:
The stream will be going live at 6:30pm CT.
From their site

Oh no, you have to wait an ENTIRE HOUR.
Your life is over.

g.g. MLG.
Maybe you should use that money you make and put it toward better servers.

I'm so disappointed in MLG. They need to find a way to eliminate these nagging problems.
Try convincing a buddy to watch this tournament now... big fail man... I thought 2011 was going to be better.
