Well 20 games in 2 hours means 6 minutes for 1 game (not counting preparing time, rest time, etc.) , and it seems HARD :O
What is worse is that even one gamer (the person doesn't say the name) had his ranking raised when he was supposed to be on OnGameNet playing Dual Tournament.
Even on Junwi's blog thingy (personal web page designed for easy use) a gamer on SG Family wrote a comment which said "1st place? Hahahahahahah good with your abusing :D"
I mean, I never thought about this thing, and people started talking about abusers... :O
What do you think?
|
shouldn't even be a question
|
i think its obviously abuse. Every ladder as important as this one will have mass abuse without any doubt.
|
It would suck if Starcraft starts getting all corrupt organisers and stuff O_O

Haha, lol wcg's admins better reset those clever pro-gamers!

siva was 14th. what do you think. (in his defence, he was one of the few in the top 5 for the few days prior but with all the abuse how can anyone stay legit?)
i'd say at least 70% in the top 50 or so abused their asses off.
lovedom was top 30, and couldn't get any games with anyone around his rank as noone wanted the chance of losing points and were all abusing.
gundam wanted free points but he realized he was far too away to make it so didn't bother.
i reckon the list should have been taken back 2 days and taken from there.
they had the next round of the league today, siva, and lovedom(qualified from the largest offline event)and someone else from our team lost in it today. Dont know the format, or what advances or what. But some amateur won i think.

1st Enfury won, amateur terran user. (he defeated silent_control) 2nd ggon 3-8 are unknown. (i dont know if the 8 go into a playoff, or another 8 join them from something else.)
|
What sucks is that the abusing starts with a few then as the legit people start loseing ground they are forced to abuse just to keep up. Btw I hope Yellow was in the top 8 :o

i thought so, it was like this every year anyway too bad no protoss users abused their way to the top 14. i hope it doesn't go like this for the wcg usa online event

What's the deal with all the other progamers, boxer, nada etc... Will they qualify by some other special tourney ?
|
progamers seed match will be played at august 5~6 and top 16 players go offline preliminary
|
fuck abusers...even if they are korean gosus, thats not cool. All i gota say about WCG admins is they are like lazy fat pigs looking for mud to bathe in.
Drink Beer. Save water for those fishies.
|
it's a vicious circle
WCG wants the progamers progamers want WCG
|
but sicne WCG is responsible they should act like that
it's only gonna cost them 1 year plus there would still be plenty of other good gamers qualified (such as gundam i nthis case)

either they are to busy with their pro leagues to actively compete in this or they are to damn lazy... but its not like Yellow and such needs to abuse to get in the top 10 of the online qualifier? WTf
|
no they're not lazy
most of them try, but in the end you get fucked in these leagues if you don't abuse. you can be the legit #1 2 days before and completely drop out when it ends.
of course yellow needs to abuse, because if everyone high ranked abuses, how is he gonna get real games? obviously in a legit league he doesn't need to abuse to obtain a high rank, but that's not the case here

You are naive to not think that this happens in every single tournament. It has just been snowballing over the years to where everyone abuses as opposed to the majority.

*correction
every korean event, but ya you're right
|
"Money and Fame" Tournaments - where "no manner plz" just isn't enough ;D
|
Maybe when you checked first, it wasnt updated....
|
|
Meh, that's the stupidest thing I've heard... and WCG Administrators allow this? Bah.. fire them!
|
It would be hard to reset every abuser
And if they did that 80% of the skill goes away making for another Ogogo/Control incidident
|
yay for the warcraft 3 automated mathch making system programmers need to save the day for starcraft

Anything that prevents korean representation like silent_control and ogogo is fine with me.

I just hope wcg usa doesn't end up being this abused too TT! It's supposedly going to be run by the same people who are running wcg's korea online :O
