One thing people don't take into account is also how hard it is to try to expand e-sports when I am getting cock blocked so hard. Expanding e-sports, specifically SC2, is my primary goal and it's just like a constant uphill battle trying to gain support and really expand SC2 the way I want to with all the negativity from tl for no good reason. I agree with you 100%. Opinions should not determine who gets featured or not, nor should politics, but that's just the world we live in.
I would just like to make a proposal. Just work with me for a couple of months. Feature me, see if tl completely ends because of it or not, and see just how much I'm able to do with the increased viewership. Because I can't say I'm the best caster or the most talented gamer, but I can say for damn sure that I'm the most driven, determined, and passionate streamer there is.

To be clear: I have no responsibility to "expand e-sports", whatever the fuck that may mean. My only goal is to put people on the TL feature list that I think belong there. If the people above me (administrators) don't think I'm doing my job well, then someone else will be given the role and they can do it via their own set of criteria.
If you have a problem with this, let's take it to PMs because this is derailing fast.

I don't really care about the outcome of this debate, but the gunrun point made above was a good one. He doesn't seem to know much about BW or SC2.
Sometimes it's easier to win arguments if you don't argue against what appears to be reality.
There is a popularity contest going on. Like anything, it's deniable by writing a trenchant reply to this post, but it's also true and obvious to anyone paying attention.

Sorry Idra, your wrong about this one. Esports may not get big directly because of me or even because of me at all. But, esports will definitely get big because of people LIKE me. You have no idea how much shit I have to put up with (or maybe you do) and still how much I'm able to accomplish. People like me, determined, motivated, and passionate about sc2, will definitely make esports bigger.

I think amongst firemen who dont put out fires and soldiers who kill afghan people for fun BigT ranks as pretty fucking cool dude. So maybe you need to focus less on your personal impression of him and judge him for the job he does and the entertainment he brings to people?
I think he does fairly fucking A on that and maybe some incentive and encouragement for him would be a nice thing to do? And if he already managed to put out a 1 grand tournament while being no where as popular as Day/Husky or GLHF says something regarding his ability to indeed promote e-sports?

exactly, but people LIKE you dont actually have any talents, any defining traits. you just have to be able to say things that are wrong while watching a game of sc2 and annoying the people playing it. anyone can do that, its tl's judgement that you arent one of the more appealing people doing it, so they're not helping promote you. its perfectly reasonable.

not sure how many times Chill has made an ass off himself on his stream, thrash talking players etc. How on earth does he see that as helping the community ? The sooner he is removed from the viewer list all together the better.
