I have no doubt that Artosis will be able to get enough money from donations to get a new camera. However, I think he's taking a hit to his respectability/reputation in the process. A lot of us are students with not much extra money lying around. And with SC2 coming out ... and so many ppl upgrading their comps ... asking for donations is a little surprising. | ||

If he gets a camera he'll provide us with awesome. He can only get a camera if we help him. I'm not understanding some alternate solution you are aware of. | ||

I mean anyone should be able to buy a decent webcam for $50 (and used webcam probably can be gotten for even less). I don't think that's a big enough deal to be calling in a "TL favor" for donations. Unless Artosis is really in some financial rut I dunno why he wouldn't just save a little bit of money ... that's probably a week or two max of cutting back on expenses.
