@htennek, currently no pre-order's still in SG, those shops that have a pre-order service will call you to pick up the game if they have stock AFAIK. ur best bet is to pre-order from Gamestop/Amazon, but no Collector's for the $100 retail, Amazon is selling the CE for $299.99 USD. If you want the CE, then the only confirm way to get it is to ask someone in the US to pre-order then ship to ur house. | ||

Brief intro: Undergrad in CMU, 22 (gosh i am OLD)still playing some sc1 and sc2, dont have too much time to play tho due to stupid amount of work in CMU. anyway, I dont think I would be flying back this summer T_T, however I should be back in winter around december, so if anything is happening then, I should be there! | ||

1) I think fundamentally, the game design is all about creeping up to a certain point and then (usually) there'll be some all in battle that decides the game, even if the actual end is an hour away. This means that you basically have to sit around for the rest of the time getting farmed - essentially the game punishes mistakes to the point where coming back is incredibly tough. 2) It's stopping the Singapore PC gaming scene from doing something a little more serious. I used to work for a gaming magazine, and I've actually met journalists who consider SC and WC3 as a "casual" game whereas DOTA is for pros. Considering that these days most pros are jumping ship to that new DOTA spin off... that kind of thinking is just sad. 3) Yeah dota has evil community. | ||
