A dream come true for any StarCraft fan.
In the past few years many StarCraft community sites have opened up focusing on the game itself, English commentaries, the foreign community, and much more. However, we at StarCraftMecca provide something no other site does: StarCraft Pro Gaming Merchandise.
NOTE: All details on exactly how StarCraftMecca works will be on the site itself on March 15, 2010.

I was so mesmerized by the game and its community that I did things like; applying for a position at Blizzard; sending my resume to GOM when they had their own leagues; volunteering at multiple community sites; going to BlizzCon and WCG just to meet the Pro Gamers.
All of this eventually led to what you see here today. StarCraftMecca is the one thing that the community does not yet have on a constant basis, and with my knowledge of both the Korean and Foreign community I promise to do what I can to bring the two closer together like no one else has before."
Remember back in April of 2009 when CJ Entus had become the first team to open up their English website (link)? There were so many replies with questions about when they would open their store.

Well that time has finally come, but not exactly the way you think. Instead of actually opening up a site directed towards fans outside of Korea, CJ Entus has decided to sign a contract with StarCraftMecca so that StarCraftMecca can distribute CJ Entus merchandise worldwide. That is right. StarCraftMecca is now the OFFICIAL worldwide distributor of CJ Entus merchandise.
The Calgary LAN Tournament is a tournament hosted by StarCraftMecca and sponsored by CJ Entus. Yes, that's right. CJ Entus, the Korean Pro Gaming team. With the recent contract signed between StarCraftMecca and CJ Entus, this is just one of the small benefits that foreign fans will get.
The tournament is over and the results will be posted in less than 24 hours.
With the recent release of StarCraft II Beta no one is sure what the future holds in store for StarCraft fans worldwide. Questions run through everyones mind about what the Koreans will do and what the Foreigners will do but no one knows the answer.
What will happen to StarCraftMecca? With what we have planned, regardless of whether the Korean or Foreign scene switches over to StarCraft II or not, they will pan out. That means that whatever we have planned won't be affected by the switch ... and that's all there is folks, sorry to leave you hanging but we can't give out all the good information all at once, right?

Just speculation, but if you look at the prizes in the LAN topic, it gives their value. That's not factoring shipping or anything though, but I'm assuming the actual price has already been beefed up to include his profit. But we'll have to wait and see.

Is there a possibility that at some point you would integrate a way to pay by poker sites like PokerStars or Full Tilt Poker? Many TeamLiquid people play a lot of poker so it would be a very easy way to pay for many of us and there are no fees like I think PayPal has.
Anyways I believe the shop will be very lucrative for you, can't decide what to throw in to my first order.

Exclusivity contracts friend. If they are the official distributor then they are the only ones with licence to sell official gear.

From what they said at the lan event it's because those prizes aren't regularly available merchandise, they are official gear that the players wear, so you can't actually buy that. The merchandise that will be produced is fan merchandise which is a little different and will probably be cheaper. Forgive me kOre if any of this is incorrect, if so I'll edit it out.

edit: Just hoping your site gets off to a good start, and trying to be constructive.
There are very good reasons why you don't make development platforms publicly available, even if you plan on deleting them later. I don't know about your setup, but that might also open doors into the rest of your / your providers infrastructure.
