Why do you guys complain about streamers when we do this for you guys? When you see a string of comments saying "FUCK YOU SUCK" or "FUCK BUFFER" or "JESUS CHRIST STREAM" it really ticks you off. The active streamers are devoting freaking 3 hours per night for you guys. We could be doing other things. We could watch the VODs in our free time. But no, we did it during fucking finals week and we do it when we're tired as shit. And you viewers who wouldn't have a stream without us come into our stream and fucking flame us? I don't care what you guys think, but any of those above statements are flames. They imply that we're the ones at fault. That we can fucking fix it. That we could care less about the buffer and that you guys can rot? I don't care who the hell you are, but we expect at least some basic courtesy from you guys. | ||

Streamers bought a pool that they let 1000 people use every other day or so, but all the people who use the pool leave trash everywhere and pee in the pool, break the diving board etc. So they lock the gate and don't let us use the pool. But when we're not in the pool, we see them enjoying playing in their own pool! how DARE they! | ||

Why must everyone, on both sides, take such a beautiful thing meant for good and bash it to a fucking pulp? TBH - I was on Roffles stream when he, IMO, completely overreacted to maybe a handful of people out of hundreds that were otherwise perfectly content. I thought it was pretty childish to be honest. But in all seriousness, I don't know what led up to that... bad night? People badgering him in the chat before that particular game? Maybe lots of complainers the night before? I don't know. All I do know is that people like him and Mystlord and others stream nearly every goddamn night, so you know what? I'm going to cut him some slack. Everyone is so quick to complain and tear people down. I can only imagine investing my time into something, only to have someone, even if it's a single person, just disregard my efforts like a spoiled brat. Livestream unfortunately suffers from the same problem that 4chan relishes in; anonymity and lack of individual accountability. Seeing as there is really no feasible way to tie TL logins with Livestream IDs, I think as long as the chat remains open, this will always be a problem. I would absolutely encourage all Livestreamers to permanently disable chat if you feel the comments getting to you. Like it or not, when you're closing down streams in the middle of a match, yes, you're 'sticking it to' the few unappreciative idiots that ruined it in the first place, but you're also screwing over hundreds of eager, on-the-edge-of-their-seat fans who are just trying to watch some SC, which is the reason you guys started doing this in the first place. And even though you're doing this on your own free time, that's still an extremely disrespectful thing to do.  I digress... What we really need is a way to tie TL logins to steam ID's. The banhammer can keep out of the riff raff that way.  | ||
