Pretty sure the week of Jaedong ended before the finals started. SKT should enjoy this now because none of your players will be in OSL/MSL/GOM finals.

Continue to think anyone will care who won this series years from now.

Starcraft is a game of individuals, and it is those accomplisments that will always override others.

Having said that, Idc who wins but the BLIND fanboyism is hilarious. Just be happy you guys managed to take a win off Jaedong.

What in the world were you watching? I'm pretty sure last time OZ was in a grand final, they raped Khan. (Except Jaedong got owned by CuteAngel haha). Were you watching the game where Anytime destroyed Stork and when Hiya owned FBH and made him cry? I'm pretty sure we watched two different grand finals. I saw Hwaseung own Khan last time in the Grand Finals.

I dunno though, I might have been on crack though.

you are right.
The first time Khan and Oz met it was the R1 final, Khan won 4-0.
Oz won the round 2 final over CJ 4-2.
They met in the conclusive final and Oz won 4-1.

I don't think the results would have been much different. fantasy vs Effort would've been close but so was fantasy vs Jaedong. Canata beat Skyhigh 2-0 just a few months ago. Hyuk beat Savior last month. Slumping or not Best would have beaten Movie or Much. Obviously CJ is a more well-rounded team than Oz with more consistent players, but I think it's stupid for people to say "wow, Oz sucks, CJ would do much better" especially considering Oz beat CJ 4-1 on the first day (which if we went by the old format would be the final score).

Yes, but the problem is, SKT winning is like the Lakers/Yankees/etc winning. No one really cares other than those teams' fans.

So I don't really buy that an SKT win is 'better for esports' or anything like that, sorry.

His point was that had CJ gone to finals to play against SKT, there's still the POSSIBILITY of it going 4:0 in favor of SKT. You can't deny that much, which means that saying anything like "CJ SHOULD'VE GONE TO FINALS IT WOULD'VE BEEN CLOSER" is only a MAYBE.

QuakerOats is not just saying it's a possibility that SKT would've gone 4:0 against CJ, he's saying that it's probable. He said "I don't think the results would have been much different." He reached that conclusion by assuming that Canata would beat Skyhigh (based on games from a few months ago and ignoring Skyhigh's amazing recent TvT play) and by assuming that CJ would send out Savior in a ZvZ instead of Kwanro. He also ignored Iris, who is in in the MSL sems and Gom finals.

Pretty unreasonable.
