Of the decade is a bit of an overstatement :p

But, yeah it was a great game. The whole series was great and sooo close.

Really?

Even if Bisu won I would think that this series was pretty shitty. If Bisu did happen to win the last set, he would've only scraped by. His play was absolutely horrible.
"absolutely horrible"? is this a joke?
I'm not much of a Bisu fan, but we played well enough, lol
Had he bothered to defend a bit instead of continuing his attack (when he cracked 12 etc), I'm positive he would have won btw

That's exactly my point.

IMO, Bisu's mistakes FAR FAR outweighed the correct things he did. All I saw was 1a2a3a4a with minimal positioning during the battle. Everything was just so sloppy.

Bisu's multi-task seems to have fallen a lot relative to what it was during his peak.
I guess you watched a different game than me

Really? No wonder...

Which game were you watching?

He was watching Bisu vs Iris on Byzantium.

What game were you watching?

There's a myth going around that Protoss players actually exists in Starleagues

As you can see Bisu lost cause he underestimnated Iris's army size. He didnt scout 3 oclock soon enough.

You must be pretty good if dodging an EMP, recalling on top of the terran army and instantly throwing out two 100% precise storms is just 1a2a3a4a for you. May I see your ICCup profile?

Iris' defence didn't seem too good; it seemed to amount to sitting there with siege tanks and laying loads of mines. when bisu attacked, he was usually quite successful, and would have worn down irsis, it seems. It's just that he decided not to defend his own economy as he attacked, so iris just sat there and took damage until bisu had nothing. If bisu had defended, he would probably have won. I guess he assumed iris would have tapped out when he pushed into iris' third, but props to iris for recognising that bisu was sacrificing his econ for a psycologically significant attack.

He was obviously watching the games through his"hate glasse".

It was a great series. One of the better I have seen this year.

No, not really.

This series pales in comparison with Bisu vs Flash during GOMTV (remember, IMO). See the difference? No horrendous mistakes throughout the series.

That series was amazing I agree.

But it doesn't mean that this was bad either. Even though Bisu made a bad decision in the last game (not defending his new expos) he still played really well throughout all the games. I can't call someone's gameplay "horrible" if that person just commits one big mistake (teven though it unfortunately costs the deciding game).

How many Teamliquid.net forumers does it take to to screw in a light bulb?

1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been
changed

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the
light bulb could have been changed differently

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs

27 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light
bulbs

53 to flame the spell checkers

41 to correct spelling/grammar flames

6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ...

another 6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term
is "lamp"

15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light
bulb" is perfectly correct

156 to email the moderators complaining that they are in violation of
their "acceptable use policy"

109 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please
take this discussion to a lightbulb forum

111 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light
bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum

306 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where
to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for
this technique and what brands are faulty

27 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs

14 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the
corrected URL's

12 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they
cannot handle the light bulb controversy

4 to suggest that posters request the light bulb FAQ

44 to ask what is a "FAQ"

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

143 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting
questions about light bulbs"

1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and
start it all over again

Savior vs Iris was Game 5 of the Semifinals of the most epic OSL that ever happened.
