And you think JD wasn't aware that corsairs can kill overlords? ^^ it was an accident.
one or two weeks ago the same thing happened to me I looked at my base and was going wtf where on earth did my spire go, it was halfway done..

So I'm guessing Perfectman is practicing for ACE?

How the hell do you cheese in ZvZ? Unless he 4 pools, which is stupid because 4 pooling a zerg is basically suiciding.

I don't get why hwaseung feels like this is a stronger lineup for them, to me it seems weaker as far as MUs go
I really wouldn't be surprised by a 4-1 CJ (with JD winning ofc) and then Jaedong owning it up on zerg-happy neo medusa

That's what I was wondering

If he can perform with the same degree of immaculate planning and precision that PerfectMan showed us today with his Reaver Drop against Iris, we could be in for quite a roller coaster ride regardless of who CJ sends out. When was this? Last time they played, Bisu destroyed Jaedong on Heartbreak Ridge.
Oh, I made a mistake :p LOL. I made up that whole story about MoustacheZerg for my own amusement since I thought it was just a spoof name intended to ridicule Oz's lack of player depth and near total dependence on JD in the "who will oz send out if it comes down to an ace match?" vote. Is that actually one of JD's nicks? LOL

CJ really needs to win before set 2's ace ... winning ace matches against JD on Harmony AND Medusa would be oh, about twice as impossible as winning just one ace against JD, which is the minimum necessary here.
I would like to see Movie (in Bisu-mode, not fail mode, of course) for ace actually but on Medusa, it's probably more prudent to just sent Effort again or maybe Iris or Skyhigh. How beautiful would Iris' Vulture drop build that he used against Effort in GOM have been if he'd saved it for here....
|
I lold at the Skyhigh>Jaedong in the predictions.
Isnt vZ like skyhighs most overated MU?
Still if it isnt theres no reason to predict that he can take on the destroyer himself.

Fun, playoff predictions.
Hiya > Skyhigh Hiya is capable of winning a TvT against a better player, upsets will happen somewhere so might as well predict them on the off chance I'll look really smart afterward.
Young < Movie Young will probably DT rush, if Movie plays safe he'll win
Lomo < Iris Lomo beating Iris is a bit more of a stretch than Hiya beating Skyhigh, I don't think it'll happen. Still, you never know, Lomo could always draw a BO win or simply play better than anyone expects.
Jaedong > Orion Can't picture Jaedong losing to Orion
ggaemo < Effort Interested to see what build order Effort uses in this game, a CJ fan might hope he 9 pools.
Backho > Kwanro HBR is one of the better maps in the current PL pool to play PvZ on (though to be fair, most of them suck), I think Backho has improved his PvZ since returning from his injury and will take this game.
Jaedong > Effort Can't picture Jaedong losing to Effort in a match this important.

This night looks actually slightly better for CJ. They have Effort playing some scrub while they sacrifice Orion to Jaedong.
Hiya < Skyhigh Young > Movie Lomo < Iris Jaedong > Orion ggaemo < Effort Backho < Kwanro
I do hope it will go to the super ace. That would be so epic. But hopefully we won't see yet another ZvZ...

Orion's probably got something prepared for Jaedong. And, even if he doesn't, 4-1 CJ doesn't seem that unlikely.
...I just hope they have something ready for the super ace. =(

So wait, Jaedong, the best Oz player, plays a chump and that's good for CJ, but Effort, CJ's best player, plays a chump and that's good as well?
I agree that CJ's definitely in the lead today but I never got this logic. Even with CJ's depth it's not a good idea to get your star player against fresh meat.

I get the feeling Effort isn't going to play.
|
Are they really predictions if you just keep picking the favored players every time?

haha, expecting Orion to upset Jaedong?

Technically, yes they are. But they are not good predictions.

5 pool vs 12 hatch, I can def see Jaedong losing.
