This is bs. If that were true, then CJ should've won 2-0 and there'd be no super ace. Instead, they got their ass kicked day 1 and if we were in the old system, they would've already been eliminated.
Do you recognize more players on CJ? Sure. But how can people keep saying they're the better team when each team won 1 set. "The better team lost" is bullshit, and it's annoying to hear whether we're talking about basketball, football or Starcraft.
Top to bottom, Red Wings >>> Penguins. Guess what? Penguins were the better team.
CJ also would have lost to Khan if not for the format allowing Effort to 3-kill. CJ may be a better team on paper, but they played badly these playoffs.

sorry to dissapoint ya but if jaedong looses twice it wont go to ace lol

Obv CJ and STX would not have been able to go toe to toe with SKT1, considering they lost to teams like Khan and Oz. When will this flawed logic end? They are NOT deeper teams! Any of these B-team players on Khan and Oz can play at A-team level given enough time to prepare and a strategy invented for them by their coach. All they have to do is win one game. When it's this kind of dynamic, there is no "depth" factor. The only thing that's shown to be a crucial factor in this entire playoffs is the ace player factor. Whoever has the best ace player tends to win. Hence why CJ ever got past Khan. You think they could have done it without Effort being as sick good as he is? They didn't win on depth.
LOL @ everyone saying "DEPTH DOESN'T MATTER ONLY ACE DOES!"
Think about that for a second. Yes, CJ had the better perceived depth walking into this series - CJ had 7 players from their A-team in this season's MSL, and all of them are starting in the MST at worst, and they have 3 in the Round of 8. Their players have been able to take down any name who plays right now in Proleague or out of it. Consistently, no, but they managed snipes this season like it was no one's business.
Walking into the series, OZ was perceived as a shallow team, consisting of Jaedong and an incosistent trio of HiyA/Lomo/BackHo. However, as we saw, those three managed to step it up (along with a rookie who shall remain nameless) and set OZ up so that they GOT to the ace match. That's usually considered some kind of depth. Jaedong didn't just magically sway KeSPA into saying "OK, we want a super ace match now!". Same thing with EffOrt - CJ had to get there SOMEHOW.

CJ had a lot of young player, next year Cj will have more experience and will do better than this year ( if they still up because prob next year Sc2 will go out )
Epic super ace by Jaedong. Once Jaedong gets mutalisk, the opponent's chances of winning just shrunk significantly.
Too bad, CJ didn't make it to the grand finals. They screwed themselves by losing day 1 to Oz. CJ in the grand finals would make for more entertaining games with their depth of players. Other than Jaedong, Oz is expected to get trashed by SKT1. In a best of 7, having a strong well rounded team matters that much more.
LOL, why does everyone say Oz has no depth when they were able to beat CJ 4-1? Sure, Oz's players may not do as well in individual leagues but when they play well, they play well (such as Hiya before this massive slump).
Oz definitely has a chance of beating SKT1, depending on the matchups of course. Who on SKT1 can the Oz crew not beat, aside from probably Bisu? SKT1 is favored to win but Oz's players are certainly capable of winning against anyone other than Bisu (and if Jaedong is lucky enough to draw Bisu and wins, well...).

No one's saying Oz doesn't have a shot. With good matchups, OZ can take down T1 the same way they took down CJ on Day 1.
However, T1's lineup is solid as hell. Moreso than CJs in my opinion. Canata/Fantasy/Bisu have been playing rock solid lately and have demonstrated that they can adeptly play against all three matchups.
Best is still really good against Terran and Protoss, so unless he matches up against Jaedong, OZ is gonna have a tough time beating him as well unless they somehow get him a PvZ.
T1 zergs suck. But I feel as if Canata/Fantasy/Bisu/Best combo can take 3 games both days, forcing it to at least an Ace Match. It's gonna be hard for Jaedong to take multiple Ace matches in my opinion against Fantasy/Bisu.
