Which Movie shows up is going to be the key to Hiya vs Movie IMO.

However great JD is, he still loses 1/3 of his games and needing upsets just to take take it to ace, then assumine JD will beat Effort twice in two games (which, by the way, he is 3-3 lifetime against) is a pretty big stretch and requires everything to fall exactly into place. While this is a winnable set for Oz (they statistically have a slight edge in ace matches over CJ's best and could get there with a few upsets) they are fighting an uphill battle in this tournament for sure. The long and short of it: If JD loses even one game this tournament, it will be very difficult for his team to win. Even if he does not lose a game, his team will still need an upset or a revitalized HiYa to have any chance.

Moreover, I'm not so sure Jaedong can beat EffOrt in ZvZ, after their GOM games. Crossing my fingers for Lomo and BackHo.

![]() ![]() sKyHigh played well, but not smart in his last game against Stork. Really strong micro could not erase the deficit he incurred from such a late siege, but it didn't seem so terrible that I would in any way think of picking Lomo here. sKyHigh is a beast at TvT, as his wrecking of Leta should prove. ![]() ![]() EffOrt is undoubtably the hottest player in the game right now, with the added bonus of being my favorite. The alien was last seen singlehandedly taking Khan's surprising proleague hopes back to his home planet to be devoured. In the meantime, Jaedong has been quietly practicing for this day. His invulnerability may have been shattered by EffOrt in GOM, but make no mistake, Jaedong is still the king, especially well-rested and well-practiced. These two are the best there is, but much as it pains me, I'm picking the Tyrant over the Messiahlisk... for now. ![]() ![]() My god, HiYa sucks. I knew he was slumping, but the once promising Terran has slipped to 1-9 in his last 10. The one glimmer of hope for Oz, is that TvP is technically HiYa's best match-up, and that Movie is as erratic as they come. This is an alternate game for Movie, and in his last game he played well, but a player of Movie's vast potential ought to be able to string two wins together, shouldn't he? ![]() ![]() Perfectman has absolutely no track-record, because he's really never played anything but the B-Team. Iris is such a favorite here, I almost fear an oDin scenario, but with Iris practicing TvP for Bisu, he will not get surprised here. ![]() ![]() BackHo is the experienced but strange player we know and love, and he'll win this game comfortably. I'm happy to see Snow in the line-up though, as he'll fail a lot less than either sAviOr or Much would've. Enough is enough, neither of those two are even line-up worthy anymore, look to the SKT1 model, and look to the future. ![]() ![]() The last time I saw Killer play, he stayed on three bases, and Movie sat on one, and the game was probably the worst ZvP I've ever witnessed. I'll excuse that among young players, but nothing can excuse the large canister of total fail that Kwanro whipped out in the last series against Khan. Absolutely annihilated twice by Miracle, Kwanro should be ashamed and scrubbing CJ floors. Instead, he's been given a reprieve which he'll hopefully use to practice, sleep, and practice more. He'd better win. ACE: Will CJ send out EffOrt against Jaedong? How about Movie? How about sKyHigh or Iris? How about... DarkElf? CJ's ace options are limitless here, but since they know who's coming out for Oz, they are free to prepare a snipe a la Leta. I'm excited. The advantage, however, is always with Jaedong.

Ace map is Neo Harm so JD doesn't really need to worry about Movie as much and can focus more on Effort/Skyhigh etc.
