I hope Flash keeps practicing, he's my favorite player and he really needs this GSL win over Effort to prove he can still take a league. Go go go Flash!

He still has his schtick of pissing away tournaments unintelligently, but he's like the king of unreasonable comebacks. If it were one of the top 5 or 6 zergs in ELO or KesPa rank in the position where July was after that 3 hatch all-in lings on Outsider, they would have capitalized and won right there with mutaling. However, July didn't capitalize, and as the game progressed he got outmacrod, outmultitasked. He lost focus. Game 3 wasn't about Flash winning, but more about July losing.

7 gas zerg vs 2 base Terran should be able to a-move mass ultras into the terran army and reinforce with mass ultras.

However, Flash had no business winning that third game. 7 gas zerg vs 2 base Terran should be able to a-move mass ultras into the terran army and reinforce with mass ultras. He had his main (which didn't even have 1 drone per patch for a long, long time), his nat, and one backwards expansion (those mine out fast). In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Flash mined more minerals that game than July did.

When he lost every single gas he had was depleted and he had close to zero mineral income. Those doubble gasses allow you to throw up ridicoulus amounts of tech very fast, but they offer no long term support for it since they mine out so fast. July's real mistake that game imo was not nydusing his other main base. But yeah, he should have won ><, (like all the games *cry*)

I like how you cut it off at 5 or 6, right before July, who is at seventh. :> I'm not saying a better zerg couldn't win in that position, but it's a discredit to Flash whenever he stages a massive comeback with brilliant play only to get snubbed with "god x threw that game away." The only, only, only reason the game is 'thrown away' is because Flash is good enough to still take the game. I'll accept that Jaedong or Yarnc would've won that game, but people act like Flash never deserves his wins.

Yeah, i remember the same shit happening over the FBH and Flash game, give credit where credit is due. Good to see flash slowly returning to form

Funny how Flash vs Effort and Iris vs July would be about 100x more appealing than Flash vs Iris (Flash rolls easy) and Effort vs July (Effort rolls easy).

I mean, to actually get a comeback you have to depend on your opponent making mistakes. Flash managed to make ALL the right decisions to inch himself back into the game. Yes July threw game 3 away, but I'm sick and tired of hearing "omg XX so threw that game way Flash isn't S-class he sux" I sure don't see much people pissing off at Jaedong when he pulls off a insane comeback.
