Everyone stopped caring after they got knocked out in the group stages, IMO. Let's just finish this one up tomorrow and do a new one. I think a swiss-style tournament would work better/keep up interest more effectively because everyone is going to be playing consistently and no-shows should be no problem if you just do 2-3 rounds a day. Also, give the D-level tournament more thought because it appeals to a larger base of the forum population who would probably be too scared to play against, say, G5 and Midian. Although not many non-participants will care about it, (not many care about this, anyways), it would be more fun for the players because the playing field would be much more level, and everyone would have a chance to win. | ||
