This should be a good matchup. But I do see STX with a pretty legit shot at winning this game, as they drew pretty favorable matchups except for Hwasin. =(

This is looking very good for STX. I predict Stx winning 3-1 with the only loss coming from Hwasin. Honestly, though, Hwasin does have some chance against Bisu, so 3-0 is also possible.

by.hero is a protoss killer. It would be a huge upset if Best defeated him. In my opinion, if Kal defeats fantasy then SKT is as good as dead. If fantasy defeats Kal, then it might go to Ace.

If it goes to the ace match I'd bet on fantasy coming out over bisu, stx's vT lineup isn't nearly as strong as their vP.

If it went to ace, I'd think they'd send out Fantasy. Fantasy is able to beat Protoss pretty reliably and by.hero/july are not known for their vT. Hwasin is the only one who'd probably give him a run for his money but they probably wouldn't send him out for fear of bisu.

Or because it's Medusa, you can send Kim Taek Yong, who's something like 22-6 on Medusa and by far the best player on SKT. Not to mention that he destroys every race.

I like OP's prediction, only I think July can take out Bisu in the Ace. And there's a chance Kal could win vs Fantasy as well, I think he's only a 40-60 underdog.
Hwasin is going to get totally rolled.

SKT1 could take this 3-0, if not then ACE match is very likely.
Fantasys favored over Kals mediocre PvT, but last time destination Pure read fantasys dropship play and shut him down hard, so who knows.
Calm should beat thezerg, but its a non JD ZvZ, so who knows.
Bisu should beat Hwasin, but hey Hwasins still a good player so theres a chance for upset, but considering the way bisu is playing, prolly not.
By.Hero should beat Best assuming he doesnt let a DT kill 40 drones.
Ace match:SKT1 will prolly send Bisu or Fantasy, lot of Mindgames could occur though as sending Bisu is an obvious choice but STX has the Bisu killer, by.hero and and a good matchup as well with Julyzerg, and if T1 ancipates this they may opt to send out Fantasy with the more favorable vs those 2. Thats my .02 cents.

My predictions, just because of Konadora's recent bad luck with predictions , is:
Kal > Fantasy
Calm < Thezerg
Hwasin > Bisu
By.hero < Best
Kal < Bisu
As much as I want to see July playing, STX hasn't sent him out lately...and in my opinion, if July is to make an appearance, it'll probably be as a starter in the lineup rather than in an Ace matchup.

My only disagreement is that fantasy will easily take down july and hero, they are both pretty good against the mech style fantasy often employs, whether it be straight mech or transition into MnM, and hero is pretty good vT on this map and even beat fantasy on old medusa. Granted as you said Id put fantasy as favorite vs every person on STX, but I dunno about easily taking down hero and july as his standard TvZ isnt the greatest and that is what seems to roll over july usually.

Kal's forces finally cleared from top right, the map is basically split in half, with fantasy's gigantic tank line separating his side.
1 arb recall on fantasy's nat, fantasy is well prepared however with tanks placed by the ramp and clears it easily. Now fantasy moves out with mass tanks to the 3 bridges, huge fight ensues! Mini-recall also at top right with 4 goons.

fantasy pushes to bottom left and sieges the gas expo. Kal moves top right and takes out the min only of fantasy, but his forces are cornered by fantasy's army. Bottom right nex about to fall to 6 tanks, well placed mines take out goon reinforcements as nex falls. fantasy is running out of minerals however, nat almost dry and long distance mining at the min only.

Wow, Kal has actually played really really well given Fantasy's beautiful (as usual) opening. I'm surprised this game has lasted as long as it has.

Now it's fantasy with the left expo close to his main mining, and Kal with his bottom left min only and the gas one close to his main.
Armies clash outside of Kal's base, and fantasy attacks without siege, taking out Kal's army and it's GG!

I think Kal did pretty well against Fantasy, it's just that Fantasy was too good at that game. But Kal lasted pretty long and I felt that his pushes were spot on, but Fantasy's defenses were just too NOT SHIT TAKING amazing. Overall, a good game from both sides.

I think Kal might have done better if he hadn't gone for so many suicide CC snipe attempts, and instead played more defensively, focusing on macroing up and facing off with the terran ball.

Calm is favored over thezerg but only slightly since his vZ is his worst MU.

Lol. Yeah flash having to hold up the KTF team in his first year as a professional SC player is not overworked. Some people have no sense of reality. Sure hes not as good as everyone may have initially thought, but he had to play in Proleague(All the ace matches too), MSL, OSL, and GOMTV. These are just what I know about. Factor in sleeping, eating, and practicing he was lucky to get a wank in.

Just finished watching them. Homai Gahd. That Bisu vs Hwasin game was so good. I havn't seen scvs stasised before. Rarely do you get a map-spanning tank line for like 20 minutes plus. Two starved players playing so well all over the map in the late-late-game. It was incredible. One of the best games to watch (probably not the best displays of skill) of this year!

The surprising thing is that STX managed to win whiteout Kal winning, Bisu losing and winning before the Ace match.

Bisu vs Hwasin
Game of the day! It was epic. It was difficult to see would win in the end. Even though Hwasin had a bigger army, Bisu had aribiters. 2-3 more zealots could had meant Bisu won the final battle. Bisu's usage of the statis to stall for mining time was brilliant. If he was able to get 1 more statis inorder to get more minerals, Bisu might had won the final battle.
Fantasy vs Kal
Dominating. Against a Dragon too! Expect to see other Terran copy Fantasy's opening build on this map. When Kal finally broke the back door contain, he sacrifice a lot of units to do so. Why don't more terran build bunkers? The damage they do are worth it against a small size Protoss army.
