I dont get the people who are suprised Shine lost that.
It was a close game but lomo had the advantage for most of the mid late game. Zerg was on only 3 bases for way too long and was barely hanging on with nice defiler play. Lomo countered this with nice mine placement. And then just out multitasked for the seemingly easy win.
But that was a great game.

actually a game like this one is really exhausting and not only because the osl qualification is on the line. I remeber savior saying in an interview after h met FLash accidently, that he was extremly tired after the game

It might be emotionally draining but he easily has the physical stamina to play his best in the next game.
If you're a pro broodwar player and you cant play 2 hard games in a row then you should find a new career asap.

The wraiths can be amazingly effective until ovie speed kicks in. Even then, they're still useful just less effective.

Well its really hard to defend wraiths without ovie speed and even then it can be tough...a few seconds of not paying enough attention and 4 drones are gone.

Definitely, but they wont be able to get there with a 2 fact. Unless T manages to completely hide his build which is difficult

that really depends on how agressive toss is, and stork sent out an army of 2 goons and a zealot at first.

Stork like 10 supply ahead, Lomo pushing out. Huge battle in the middle, great position for Stork, cleans up pretty easily. Minefield kills many Zealots, but STork might be able to push the expo.

Based on the way he handled that recall I can definitively state that Lomo is not Flash.

Recall into Lomo's main, Mines kill some, but Stork is killing a lot of stuff. Stasis freezes a bunch of vultures. Lomo cleans up the recall, but he is shaken up.

Stork snipes two dropships! Those are huge. Stops some vultures from getting into his base at the middle. Lomo still on a decent supply level though.

With having top right secured, Stork really is in the lead. Both approaching 200 supply now.

Recall does not do much, and Stork loses an arb needlessly. Stork tries to push the front at the same time but it does not work. Lomo lost way too many tanks in the middle, and it's going to be tough for him to get anything done for a while. Stork will need to throw away a couple armies w/o getting anything doen for Lomo to have a chance.
edit: Well, these recalls are doing it...

Goons in Lomo's main base are still alive and causing havoc. Finally Tanks come in to save the second armory that is upgrading something as it seems.

Lomo is being shaken time and time again, but he is not really falling behind in supply, and even amassing quite a few minerals.

Good mines clean up the newest recall. But Stork's macro machine is running hot by now, he can just outwear Lomo bit by bit.

I was hoping Lomo would play the game out like Flash vs. Shuttle but he blew his load prematurely by moving too far out before max and well after any sort of timing could have dictated. He threw his units into the meat grinder for no apparent reason.

And Stork is nice playing as zerg. I remember he laughed at free saying he beat him as zerg many times.
