Obvioulsy I don't want to push anyone while on the other hand I am super eager to read it. But the knowledge that someone is working on it is calming.

We've seen scrubs get nuked hilariously (Boxer vs Baxter, heheh) plenty of times and it technically counted as 'effective,' but it wasn't a situation that it was best suited for, unlike the hidden barracks thing Flash was about to pull on Skyhigh before he finished it off anyhow. Casy vs. Jy on Troy? Also, it's kind of silly to say that Flash is using nukes "legitimately" when he's already miles ahead in a game, but Boxer wasn't using them "legitimately" because he was playing a much weaker opponent...aren't these effectively the same situation?

I believe Boxer also used it against Nal_rA in some game on Python

Flash wasn't too far ahead, and even if he was the point was, outside of gimmicking weaker opponents (Skyhigh is not a weak opponent, especially on dest), he used something few people see as useful for more than scouting in TvT (the barracks) adaptively (making marines to fight off Skyhigh's wraiths) and inventively (after his forces were cleared out from behind he landed it and made the most powerful unit you can out of a barracks, ghosts with nukes, where Skyhigh had thought was a clear area). And beyond that, the point was Flash is a player who knows how to adapt and, even on the fly, do unorthodox and clever strategies. People keep arguing Fantasy's creativeness is what makes him better and that Flash is just a robot when that's not really the case. And yeah, I guess I haven't seen every game there is and might've missed some Nukes (I've been mostly a casual watcher since the days of Reach), but the level of play this happened on was in an entirely different league. Boxer vs Nal_Ra, or the time, might've been top tier, but nothing compared to the hyper-optimized games of today. If Flash were just doing it to embarass/revenge kill/bad manner the hell out of Skyhigh he wouldn't have finished it off with the drops. The only thing there was his purely optimizing style and creativeness kicking in.

Maybe at the prolevel, but yeah.

It's just an example of him being cleverly unorthodox. He was ready to deliver the killing blow but like I said, it's not like he was doing it not for it to be useful -- if he was doing it for anything other than effectiveness then he wouldn't have doom dropped the expo and would've BM nuked the hell out of him. Serves me right for exaggerating. I should just go back and edit the post to "Cleverly setting up Ghosts and Nukes in a more modern game" How dare I use the word legitimate.
