You see, he only has so much and he has to choose appropriate times to use it, as he will eventually run out. That's why you'll see him in games where he's absolutely terrible the whole way through until, suddenly, he stages a fantastic comeback that would make even Jaedong look good -- he just tapped into a bit of his pure awesome when Leta or anyone least expects it and wins. Sadly, it doesn't refill very quickly, so he has to be conservative with it. That's why he's always sucked in proleague -- it's never worth losing the valuable "awesome" for just one game. But take winner's league, for example, in which he performed much better than he usually does in proleague -- he knew he could play for more than one game so he turned on the awesome sometimes, taking out Stork, Jangbi, Bisu, Fantasy, etc, and helped KTF get their third place spot. But, obviously, it would take WAY too much awesome investment to beat Jaedong in ZvZ, so he had to throw the game to save up for the MSL, and thus Oz kicked KTF out of the tourney even though Lux could possibly have saved them. And then you have the MSL, through which he just went all out and said "Fuck it, I'm going to bleed my tank dry and get this damn title." He absolutely destroyed Zero and took Jangbi to task with what was 2 lopsided series, showing Jaedong-esque levels of ZvZ and ZvP. But it takes a lot to convincingly win an MSL, so his "awesome" tank has been dry as hell. He's barely got enough to stay alive in the leagues, so he just can't scrape the PL wins that SHOULD be easy for him. FYI, Lux started out as a PL beast(he was the only zerg in the top 10 in the 2008 PL, IIRC). Then KTF bought him. and then he won an msl

Not only did he minimize the potential loss from the wraith harass, he gave Fantasy no time to recover by finishing Fantasy off. Most other TvT would had been a 20+ minute game in those situations.

Also his initial attack was incredible. He managed to kill ALL scvs in Fantasy's expo. In the meantime his expo was up and running. Moreover, he clearly expected fac+port which explains depo placement and early armory. When the wriaths came armory was already up. Really amazing game by Flash. I just don't understand people who say that he just play solid. This game was perfect by him and anyone who refuses to see that is blind. I respect Fantasy a lot and obviously he is really good but in this game Flash was out of his reach.

He might be liked a lot but any star from SKT1 is tantamount to Freddy Mercury on this forum.

He might be liked a lot but any star from SKT1 is tantamount to Freddy Mercury on this forum. SKT1 has the single biggest fanbase ala Boxer Oov Bisu. Fantasy by proxy has more fans -- ie people who will root for him. Go read this thread and tell me who was getting more support, Fantasy or Flash. Hint, it's not Flash. I'd like Flash to be more popular, but as far as TL is concerned he isn't. He may be just as big as SKT1 in Korea but I doubt that as well. Savior, Nada, and maybe Reach are the only competition for any big star from SKT1. I really am a Flash fan but I'm not dumb about it. I know who's more popular -- even if it may be a flavor of the month deal. I also admit stuff like I think Jaedong is honest to goodness the best player of all time thusfar, even though Flash is my favorite of the new generation (I am and always will be a Reach and Nal_Ra whore. Sorry Flash <3) Thanks to everyone who complimented me on my silly musing.

If this thread is any indication, he probably has the bigger fanbase though... What's with all these assumptions? THis is why Flash is the best. He transcends any assumptions. Suppose we make the following poll: You don't know who the opponent is. You don't know if it's a Bo1, 3, or 5. You pick a terran to play for you. Who would you pick? Most people would pick Flash. Because he IS the best terran. Doesn't mean he's better at everything than Fantasy or Leta. But in terms of overall strength there is no comparison.
