Really <Neo Medusa> BeSt Best's TvP is rather shaky, but when the match goes standard he doesn't lose that easily. Although there is a T>P imbalance on the new Neo Medusa, Best will once again trample a Terran with his 2-base arbiter build SangHo <Outsider> fantasy Perfect map for Fantasy to use his dropships. His recent TvP against Movie was total rape, expect more rape to happen. hyvaa <God's Garden> Thezerg Hyvaa's ZvZ is nearly unstoppable, even defeating Jaedong. They don't want to overplay Bisu and SKT T1 feels (rightly) that they can take eSTRO without him.
Neo Medusa does not favor Terran by any means. Stats can lie.
Normally Fantasy would have an easy win over Sangho but Outsider is ridiculously difficult TvP. hyvaa is almost a lock in his game and has a fair chance at winning the ace if Bisu doesn't come out. I predict estro 3-2 if Bisu doesn't play, 2-3 otherwise.

Bisu in the ace match seems likely. Destination is P=Z and P>T. Bisu is 65% on it, with 4/7 losses coming from Jaedong and Jangbi (when he was still playing well). Gogo Bisu.
I like how SK is giving their zergs a chance. Using five different players means the team has decent depths, unlike some other teams.
I hope this goes to ace because I want to see Bisu play. It would be awesome if he played Hyvaa in it but, most likely, the match is gonna be over before it gets to ace

First pair of DTs spawn, Shuttle heads up immediately, doesnt wait for 2nd batch. Fantasy with Starport and pushing out with some tanks, kills a scouting Probe.
DTs drop, Scan is wasted. Fantasy getting engbay finally, Sangho moving up with more DTs and some other ground. DTs harass the expansion, get scanned but picked up in time. Mines everywhere now.
Wraith takes down the Shuttle, Vultures chase down one goon. Mass Vltures at Sangho's doorstep. Natural Nexus will die. Mines kill some goons, Ramp about to be broken by Vultures!
Sangho is sending his Probes to block the ramp, but his natural Nexus cannot get running. He has 3 goons left at his ramp. Fantasy starts to mine at his expo again. Observer out, GOons move out to save the natural.

Well, if you take into consideration of their entire history of performances in the PL, their record is still a bad losing one. They could go back on their losing ways again, who knows, but with the recent addition of their coach Mumyung, whom I know all the T1 credits for helping them improve. You have to give props to the estro coach for taking it to ACE... I'm sure he expected t1's best players in sets 1 and 2 so he sent Really and SangHo as sacrifice. He expected hyvaa to face someone less powerfull and win and UpMagic destroy any SKT Failzerg even on BR... But Bisu>all so... SKT win anyway
First lings hatching for hyvaa, will take down the pylon I guess. Bisu with Gate and one cannon. Pylon at natural has been cancelled and hyvaa placed his 3rd hatch.
Cycore, scouting Probe still alive, but does not see Lair. I wonder if BIsu will fall for this. Hyvaa still whoring drones, tries to glitch the probe. Bisu still one cannon, adding Stargate.
Spire building, 2nd cannon at Bisu's natural. 4th Hatch placed for hyvaa now. Citadel underway for Beesuit. Still no Hydra den? Lings try to slip through the backdoor, FIVE make it into the main!
First corsair is out, Goon is chasing the 4 lings remaining. No probes died yet. Corsair scouts the lair and the Hydra den building there. one probe died to Lings, Corsair working on an OL, First scourge out, chase corsair away.
Spore was completed at the third, but that DT has double digit kills. Corsair being chased by Scourge. Hyvaa preparing a ground assault with Hydraling. Morphs Lurkers at Bisu's bridge.
Speedzeals hit those hydras with great timing, Lurkers not finished. DT goes into the third again, gets taken out by Sunken but kills more Drones. Speedzeals hit the third! Single sunken will die soon
Bisu's Speedzeals with tons of damage. Another group at natural, supported by Archon. Drones come out to defend, get taken out, Zeals at third killing hydra den. This is a massacre.
Lots of angry Lots take out that Lurker at the third. Hyvaa getting more lurkers to defend for the moment. Bisu moving up with many speedzeals, temps, getting more goons and obs now,.
It's tough enough to beat Bisu ZvP even if you deflect his harass well. If you get lazy on your overlord placement and a 19 kill DT slips through there's no coming back from that.

As much as I want Fantasy to win an OSL, I think it's about time Bisu wins one.
I'm really happy that UpMagic got his vZ win on BattleRoyal, it looked like he wanted it pretty bad. He played a nice game too. And Hyvaa is really cementing his place as the no2. ZvZ player in the world with another nice win. Pity he couldn't put up a better fight in the ace match but losing to Bisu is never shameful, the guy is amazing. T1 deserved the win, they are obviously the better team, even if I was rooting for the underdogs as I often do.
well boxer initially earned 160,000,000 won per/year on his 동양 contract in 2003 (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=763)
when skt bought the team he earned 150,000,000 won and 1.7 mil USD was allocated to the team in 2004 (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=12640)
don't know about succeeding years. yes the numbers may be small but this is not counting inflation etc =p

As much as I want Fantasy to win an OSL, I think it's about time Bisu wins one.
If he faces Jaedong in the finals, then wouldn't that mean he would have faced Fantasy in the semis, so the result would be the same?

Fantasy ? I think Bisu deserves to get to the finals , but Fantasy i think deserves to win it , because to lose 2 times in the final is dissapointing as fuck . Even Stork deserved it when he won lol .
And guess battle royal is playable for terrans after all .

lol people have been saying this since Daum 2 years ago. I'm starting to believe bisu has some kinda of OSL curse on him. He will easily get thru the RO16 like he always does, and get owned by some T.
Bisu didn't deserve to go even that far, he was lucky enough that Backho got back problems
Discuss: In order to declare bonjwa status for anyone, Bisu or Jaedong will have to beat the other one decisively (at least 3-1) in a Starleague final. Until then, it's an open question which is the better player, with Flash holding on to a close third (assuming he snaps back to form) and Leta trying really hard to knock Flash off the "best Terran" throne (but Leta seems to have individual league issues). And people like fantasy making the whole question kind of more confusing.

Jaedong's ZvZs?
This, JD has 80% winrate lifetime which is no fucking joke
Does somebody notice that Bisu's PvP is like a JD's zvz ? Bisu's has won 32 games from last 40. If he continues to rape protosses he will one of the best PvP'er in history.

Unfortunately recent month`s play is irrelevant to last months play.

Not really...Terrans face fast nexus all the time on Medusa. Especially on Neo Medusa they have shown that it's possible to win in a macro game even if the Protoss uses this build.
I think this game was simply an instance of a huge disparity in micro quality tipping the scales...Really thought he could take out BeSt's FE but instead he ended up getting horribly outmicroed and lost all of his units.

Well, in terms of ELO, Bisu already is the best pvp player in history, best pvz player in history, the 3rd best pvt in history, and best all round player in history.

Oh no, Hyvaa was well aware of what just happened. He knew what happened when he bounced over to his expo and saw a bloody mess where some Drones should have been. No, he's just in shock at the sheer brutality of what had just been done upon him, and his complete and total inability to do a damn thing about it.
It's Bisu; you kinda expect to lose. But it would have been nice for Bisu to let him feel like he had a chance somewhere along the way. I mean, did Bisu really have to send that same DT back into the guy's base?
As some say, though, mercy is for the weak. And Bisu is not weak.

It's completely relevant, who would put a player on knowing they will most likely suck ass? That's what part of the old PR is about, if two players are close, the player expected to do better was placed higher, and other things like that too. It shows how solid your placements were.
What was most amazing to me is when Bisu had that huge army and rolled over hyvaa's lurkers without losing *a single unit*. He only lost an obs to the spore colony. His ability to micro such huge armies the way a normal progamer micros a single grouping of units is incredible. Then there was that time he was microing two or three groups of zealots simultaneously, all the while expanding to his 2nd expo, screwing up hyvaa's macro and strategy. Hyvaa brought back all his lurkers from his 2nd expo, leaving it completely defenseless save for a small group of hydras. And those were stormed without even moving. Bisu's multitasking threw Hyvaa so off balance his game just completely deteriorated.
Yes that 19 kill dt gave Bisu a huge advantage, but the way Bisu executed after that was still beyond godlike. There's just no comparison, and there never has been. He's taken the protoss race to its absolute limits.
Wow, bisu just demolished hyvaa. That micro was really impressive, those drone kill while glued to a wall of hydras was cool; though I must admit, didn't really matter.
6 speedlings get into his main and he loses a whole 1 probe? Is this guy even human?
Then later he's microing multiple zealot attacks at once, even at the end of the game while he's ramming stuff down hyvaa's throat he still has the attention to micro new zeals popping out of his gates to keep them under the ovie that was about to drop his main. Unreal multitasking.

He doesn't have any spare APM to use on facial expressions, obviously.

Him or Fantasy taking this OSL would amount to thunderous applause from fans and "About damn time" from indifferents. Bisu is the best player around with no OSL and Fantasy is the best player around with no title.
That WAS Jangbi for awhile but the poor chubby cheeked little man just isn't living up to it anymore.

That was also Luxury for awhile but then he decided to win an MSL. And suck.
