but to be honest. i dont see tossgirl putting up much of a fight, and i think idra can take super fairly easily. id say it will come down to idra and white ra

White-Ra is pretty much THE best foreigner protoss ever sooo yea! Not counting the old-timers like Grrr... and Leg who were pro-gamers. Super is definitely one of the top 3 Chinese Terrans if not #1 right? And ToSsGirL... well yea she's probably a newbie lol. Although shes' probably around IdrA's level, maybe a little worse but I Really have no clue.
It's hard to predict because it'll be almost all TvT and I don't know much about the specific strength of each player in that match-up.
My guesses are: White-Ra>Super White-Ra>IdrA White-Ra>ToSsGirL IdrA>ToSsGirL Super>IdrA
I think thats a fair prediction given everyones opinions of tossgirl. Supers TvP has looked good lately but Whitera would be the favorite, and Idras current level of TvP should make him the favorite vs Ra. But you never know tossgirl might suprise everyone.
People are idiot's. Any of you remember Tossgirl vs ToT)ClouD(? Tossgirl is NOT a pushover, she's still ahead of the vast majority of foreigners. And is probably just as strong as Super/IdrA/White-Ra, if not stronger overall. I expect Tossgirl and White-Ra to do well. Although I do love IdrA, his play fails vs White-Ra's style.

And Super is just boring. lol
Was that some kind of strange poem? And Tossgirl used some tricky dropship build vs Cloud where she let him scout 1 scv on gas or something, not that it takes away from her win, but that isnt really an indicator of much especially vs a group where its 2 terrans, and its a series so something like that would likely only work once. She is better than most give credit for, but thats not saying very much.I dunno how you really make an argument for her being strong overall, I mean she plays well sometimes, like taking a game off effort but playing terribly vs like keke and upmagic, I dont recall seeing her play any real TvTs, Basically make any real assumption about her play other than that which is based on what we have seen is tough. Tough being a female progamer, I guess.. Anyways like I said this should be interesting.
IdrA > Super ToSsGirL > Super ToSsGirL > White-Ra White-Ra > IdrA IdrA < ToSsGirL White-Ra > Super
TvT is supposed to be Idra's weakest matchup, so I doubt he can take Tossgirl (consistently, obviously any of these players have the potential to take games off the others here and there). White-Ra knows how to beat IdrA, Super might not. If Tossgirl drops a game I'd expect it to be to White-Ra, but still give her a small edge over him probably. She'll be defending Korea's honor here and doesn't have a whole lot else to prepare for, so I'd expect her to be in pretty good shape for this.
Edit: As for Tossgirl being weak: against A-teamers, sure. She's against 1 B-team player and 2 top foreigners. Against that level of player, she's still extremely strong.
Will this be commented in English? If not, hopefully someone can get the vods to artosis and have him comment on them, that would be really great, that is if there will be vods, but I really hope/believe that there will be

For the record, Super is a TvT beast, so I only see him maybe losing to White-Ra tbh. IdrA's TvP is good and I think he's better than ToSsGirL. White-Ra's good enough to beat out both ToSsGirL and Super, but I don't see ToSsGirL doing better than 1-2.
BTW, has anyone confirmed if this is actually round robin?
Ya I am geting spoiled off all these English dubs of VODs lately. A few years ago I could watch VODs in korean no problem. Now I just wish I could hear english commentating on every VOD.
According to the official timetable, playple will broadcast it. I couldn't find anything though. The entire thing is being broadcasted via plu.cn. Here are the options to watch it:
UUsee installation: On the first screen click the left button. After that always press the middle Button. On the last screen of the installation deselect the checkboxes or you install a toolbar and shit like that.

Sorry but LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL Skillwise Tossgirl is B / B+ at max. She SUXX She's bm. She's in this shit cause she looks good not cause of ANY skills. Stop trying to hype this, Tossgirl going anything else than 0-3 would be FUCKING hilarious. Edit: Not meant to be trolling, but I played her and she was soooooooooooo fucking easy - no one of those 3 are going to lose to her ever. Sorry.
Now I heard some people say she no longer lives in the progaming house. I don't know if that means she commutes for practice or not. I assume she is still training as a progamer. And on STX she apparently is close to the A-team. Despite the results she shows. Otherwise, why use her in proleague vs Upmagic? If she is indeed an amateur, then that is what she is. Remember Yellow vs Idra when Yellow was an amateur?
Surely Super and Tossgirl are the favorites. Chinese are better than other foreigners and Tossgirl is a progamer and a winner. She won all those female leagues. Idra is not a winner yet, despite his huge skill. And he is not that good TvT. I think his PvT is better than tossgirl's. I mean, beating Shuttle is quite huge. And he almost almost beat Stork at WWI and that was a long time ago. But he can even lose vs Strelok. So vs Super and Tossgirl he will probably lose. And yeah all three may end up having troubles with White Ra. He is very thought to beat. But he isn't anywhere near progamer level. He can lose to Strelok who obviously is the lesser player in this tournament.
But in the end they are all pretty even and it's just too bad there is no zerg player.

If she gets 4th at this tournament she should quit and become a commentator or something.
I think that is likelly true, but also I think people who predict her to win the whole thing might be overestimating her and the people who think shes going to get last are underestimating. I would say she has decent tvt, but definetly has tvp problems...I remember she lost to a protoss on livebattle

I don't think she would be a good commentator if she performs bad in TV.

thats not tossgirl probably grubby's gf, and the guy behind her is probably some wc3 reporter
The asian looking girl in the first photo is indeed Cassandra. She's the girlfriend of Grubby, the WC3 Pro-Gamer on the very right of the picture. She is from Singapure, but moved to the Netherlands to be with Grubby.
Tossgirl or Idra will take this, with one of them beating the other (probably Idra beating Tossgirl). This may not be the actual results, but it's definitely the safe bet. Super looked sloppy against Lx and White-Ra doesn't have the mechanics to beat any of them.
Just giving my predictions as if they were progamers and not members of the foreign scene (tossgirl excepted of course) :p
IdrA has to be the favorite at this event, even though he's said TvT is his worst matchup. Sorry guys, but Tossgirl doesn't stand a chance (listen to Infernal).
To anyone who thinks White-Ra is going to beat IdrA: remember how close their TSL Ro16? series was? Now think about how much IdrA has improved since then, vs. how much White-Ra has improved.
I think either Idra or Tossgirl will take it. I guess i'm supposed to cheer for Tossgirl as an stx fan and all but I kinda like Idra hmm. Ok I'll stick out my neck a bit and predict that Tossgirl will win. If she can win games in gom she should be able to defeat a bunch of top foreigners and idra has even worse nerves than she has. (Ok tushin, please help her prepare now ok? =P)
1 White-Ra ( White-ra is so strong vs t i cant see him not geting first place here and he is alot stronger on offline events than on online)
2 Super ( this guy is so good think many underate him he can do well his tvp and tvt are good i think)
3 Tossgirl (sorry but tossgirl is good but not good enough ..)
4 Idra ( playing 2 tvt and 1 tvp i cant see him wining over white-ra and his tvt is his weakest mu i think ..if there were 2 zergs i could say he could win but now 4th place or 3rd at best)
I don't get it, if you guys think F91 is so good why is there no respect for Super? In almost all the Chinese leagues Super (along with half of the Chinese pros, LX, Pj, Vulture, etc...) kill F91. I know of course that it's a different match up but still, I'm not even sure F91 has won any Chinese leagues. I really like F91, but if you watch any Chinese leagues you know the favorites are always Lx, Pj or Super.
I don't want to be an Idra hater but I do feel he is in the toughest position to prove himself and I feel like he is the least likely candidate to do well... I hope he will prove me wrong and the best of luck to him.
Fomos had a telephone interview with her. She says:
- her goal is to be no. 1 - she heard from other players that Super plays well - she says she practiced Terran strategies [=테테전?!] very hard so she has enough confidence to beat him - Article says that Super beat Boxer and Yellow [really?] and so that Super has become well known to korean fans. So that even though Super's skill level is less than that of Korean players he will be a tough opponent. - she says that he is well recognised so it will be fun for people watching - the article mentions Idra and Whitera as also being in the tournament. Fomos asked her what she thinks of the foreigner skill level. She says that in the past she played a lot of them on the internet but recently she hasn't played them very much. She says that if we compare foreign gamers to korean gamers, they are probably around the 'semi-pro' level. -something at the end about Tossgirl receiving strategy tips and help from people at SKT1??? [팀원] -then she repeats that as long as she is not careless she can be no.1
lol. my first try at translating. Hopefully konarada or smix can clean this up :D I can't even try translating the netizen comments as they use too much e-slang ㅠㅠ

They looked at super's iccup account and said that the match up he played the most was TvT. They also mentioned Reach's 100 proleague win a few minutes before that

a lot of tanks die, it seems like he barely defends
but White-Ra intelligently moves a single dragoon behind the mineral line of the expansion so that 6 reinforcing dragoons quickly take out out of place siege tanks and seal the win.

If Idra wins and White-Ra loses in this next series, will it mean Idra and White-Ra are tied and have to play again to decide who goes to the finals against Tossgirl?

i think super is depressed after his loss to girl, but also idra is under pressure of haters as always =) so they are both in similar psychologic condition=)
So tomorrow White-Ra plays Tossgirl in the winners match. The loser of that game plays Idra. Then the winner of the losers game plays White-Ra again in the grand final.
