Ok, what I meant to say was that players like TheZerg and Rock, including others, do a very good job qualifying for StarLeagues, like OSL, MSL, and GSL, but never get very far into them ever. They are like StarLeague regulars but in general are not very good. That was my point. And if you look to see how many StarLeagues they have qualified for, you can see that it has been quite a few. I think GoodFriend is another player like this.

BTW, Rock qualified for these OSL tournaments, EVER, Bacchus 08, Incruit, and Batoo. He also got into all 3 GSL tourneys.

I used to have the perception that Goodfriend was a player like that, shows up to starleagues but mediocre, but I realised that he was actually a damn good Terran. His TvP was pretty much top-notch and he made it regularly to the Ro8+ (even to the final where he lost in a very tight Bo5 against July).

Unfortunately, KTF killed his progaming career.
