btw I know I sound rather scathing here but I cannot help to stress that some of you need to know we are still dealing with WCG here. They are trying to improve but perfection isn't made overnight (this last year).. they will continue to run this fairly poorly for as long as they decide that they know best how to run a SCBW tourney without having anyone who knows SCBW directly managing. I thought they were going to make some strides but that meeting I talked about where they were going to consult with me in NY about WCG never happened. And the site is still really bad.. there is still time and I hope they use it.

is probably the best pace to start. Sorry if I'm wrong. The link you'll probably want to click on leads you here. http://qualify.us.wcg.com/files/file/WCG_2009_SC_Broodwar_Competition_Guide.pdf

edit: Regarding some comments above. It really is kind of confusing because it's not clear if this is some sort of ladder qualifier like they did 2 years ago or a tournament where they play one round per day like they did last year. Since we are using the GamOn client though that makes me think it may be the ladder. Oh, and still no map list. They say another e-mail will come tommorow though. Maybe it'll be like last year and be blue storm, python, and umm I don't remember the rest.

Maps : WCG Gaia, WCG Paranoid Android, WCG Azalea, Neo Beakdu Daegan I thought these rules might be the exact same as from years ago but at the end they did remember to change it to "WCG 2009". I'm sure that for the national finals and grand finals the maps will be updated. For tommorow though, I'm just hoping there will be an admin there who speaks english. Those maps aren't really THAT terrible... but I haven't played any of them in a while and besides Peaks they aren't very good P maps.
