edit: I would love it if Fantasy won, but atm I don't think he's developed his style or experienced enough to take on a true legend.
Umm... wasn't Luxury the clear favorite against JangBi?
nah there was no clear favourite there. Jangbi reached his 3rd finals in a row on a very short time plus being very good at pvz. luxury, good aggressive builds but probably lack alot in lategame mechanics vs jangbi.
I thought jangbi was going to win, but he played pretty badly.

But as we all know, upsets happen all the time and if JD didn't practice much and Fantasy practised his ass off (or rather: his hands) then Fantasy might as well win 3-1 or something.
So I don't like predicting, I'll just watch and hope for good games, worthy of a final.
Dude you just make a couple of predictions right there and saying you don't like predicting? xD
Anyway I think Fantasy won't be an easy pushover for Jaedong like people seem to think for the following reasons:
- He's good at preparing for BoX matches. - He has much much more preparation time. - He's a strategic player, while IMO one of Jeadong relative weaknesses is adaptability.
Bottom line is there's NO WAY this will be a 3-0 rape. Fantasy will definitely come up with some nice surprise strategies for the first 2 games.

Ya, I 100% agree with you on jaedong being bad against crazy builds. I mean Jaedong vs stork game 2 on sin chupung ryeon. Man good job Stork, he knew Jaedong's weakness and cheesed him, that turned out very well for stork for sure.

Luxury was 83% in last 11 games against jangbi for ZvP. Jangbi on the other hand was failing epicly hard.
I wish i never had to hear people talk about Bonjwa's ever again. But i shall leave you with this. As long as there is a debate, there is no new bonjwa.

I'm just stating what is 'majorly accepted' to be the requirements. I too agree with you on this though, heh.

Fantasy need to change his tactic for against zerg. Building Valkyrie then go back to academy M&M isn't effective against zerg player with great macro skill.

"very good at PvZ" Please base this off something other than FakeSteve's PR, his PvZ is quite mediocre... I'd take Luxury's ZvP over JangBi's PvZ anytime, his series play is also superior. And I think that Luxury's lategame is just fine if he starts off with hydras, his lurkerling isn't that great.

And this. The map pool as well. How can anyone say Luxury wasn't the clear favorite? I don't understand at all.
However, in this MU Jaedong is an even greater favorite, and I have full confidence in him winning 3-0. Fantasy might be able to steal a game with some kind of a creative mech build that involves JD being unlucky with scouting and guessing the build, otherwise I don't see him winning. I also don't see Fantasy winning against Jaedong if the game goes into the lategame without Fantasy gaining some kind of a great advantage in the early game with some kind of a cheesy harrass.

Consider that ZvZ is mostly about micro and adaptability and split-second decision-making.

yeah, I completely agree. He has some sort of warrior madness
Nice picture. I think Jaedong is going to take it 3-1 or 3-2. Fantasy is a great player, but Jaedong is just on fire right now. Putting aside his loss to Skyhigh for a moment, his overall record and his record against terran has been absolutely astonishing. Fantasy's record against zerg is a less impressive.
I see Fantasy trying something cute first game and failing miserably. Jaedong will tear him a new one and proceed to win 3-0. Either that or Jaedong somehow drops first set like he always does and come back 3-1.
Jaedong has monster micro and contrary to what some have said, great adaptability. He will see Fantasy's 14cc and 3 hatch before pool, he will see Fantasy's 8rax and pull drones to kill the bunker.
I cannot imagine a scenario where Fantasy wins. His mech is well-known, so Jaedong has plenty of time to prepare. Jaedong is already beastly against mnm, so no surprise there. The only chance Fantasy has is if he goes 10fact or 3star or something, basically something so cheesy it's off the charts. He could pull off one game like that (most likely the first game).

See now you've done it. Now I have to whip out some marvel stuff.
Thor in Warrior madness state:
Defeated Beta Bill Ray (almost killed him)
Defeated Silver Surfer(almost killed him)
Defeated Both Adam Warlock with soul gem and Silver Surfer
Defeated Infinity Watch that include Drax with Power gem.
Tied with Thanos (but Thanos admitted that if Thor break from his Force field Thor will destroy Infinity Watch and Thanos.)
But Odin later defeated Thanos in one on one.
So I'd say. Jaedong is in warrior madness mode (almost--freaking smart but failure cheese).
