I'm pretty sure the only reason Jaedong 5 pooled was to get revenge for the last time Skyhigh cheesed him on Destination.

I'm pretty sure it made sense for Jaedong to 5-pool against a zerg sniper who'd been practicing to kill him, on a heavily terran favoured map, when he had 3 teammates waiting to "finish the job" (lol).

You can't blame Jaedong for Lecaf's inability to close out a won series.

I guess Oz is not the same team as it was when Anytime and Forgg was there. Jaedong did very well, but CJ's depth is definitely the best.

I can't believe they are finally Champions, nothing like winning with the team.

yep, sending skyhigh 4th when they know jaedong is opening is a clear indication he was practicing to kill him.

savior was 3rd and didnt have anything special prepared for jaedong, this makes it pretty obvious they didnt expect jaedong to still be there. you dont plan to play savior straight up against jaedong.

don't be a sarcastic ass for no reason especially when you're uninformed. read the interview, skyhigh states that he practiced tvz very heavily for rush hour 3 and that cj had practiced worst case scenarios specifically to take out jd, even if their first 2 players failed.

man what a bad 5pool :\

aren't you only supposed to go back to drones with a 5pool vs P after you kill his FE but can't kill him? I thought vs T any sort of 4/5 pool ALWAYS has to be all-in. (I don't know much about 4/5 pools) Surely JD didn't forget how to 5pool, so can someone explain to me what he was planning to do?

and then all that's left are the scrubs. (T)Iris and (T)sKyHigh could be reversed here as well.

I get the feeling even if there was a 1% chance of winning the game, he would've gone for it, because he only needed one more game.

SkyHigh wasn't a sniper -_____-;;

He was OZ's last hope, and guess what? he raped.

Finally got to watch all of the games (slept after game 2).

Game 1: Jaedong rode his 1 drone kill to victory. Nice scourge micro at the end, but I think he had a greater muta count anyway.

Game 2: I thought Iris played a really great game actually. At one point, he killed Jaedong's entire group of Mutalisks, I thought he would have won for sure. I think the problem was that he wasn't aggressive enough (irony) and missed the tiny timing windows he had (there were two or three by my count). Jaedong really made mutas seem imba in this game. Iris's repsonse wasn't bad, just a few seconds off with the attacks.

Game 3: I don't understand why zerg players never leave the OL in the other player's base anymore (afraid of getting killed by initial mutas?) Great play by Jaedong again. He knew he had the upperhand by being the better player.

Game 4: Clutch game. Jaedong's choice to cheese was really unexpected, but logical and reasonable. His drone scout timing was "off" by maybe 1 - 2 seconds, but I don't know if that could be prevented given that he needed 150 minerals for six lings. It seemed that he wasn't sure what he wanted to do. He started producing drones after the first wave of lings. Had he continued with lings, perhaps it would have worked? SkyHigh had pretty decent reaction (not so much good micro) against the lings, and he's got the mentality right: all he had to do was fend off the lings to have an advantage. Timing was good afterwards. Also, if Jaedong sent scout towards seven, it might have worked too.

Game 5: Ballsy move by SkyHigh, maybe he practised for that. Amazing reaction to FE on Col2.

Game 6: D+ noob -_-;; I swear he made more mistakes than I would have (playing people against my level, obviously). The build was pretty terrible to begin with, and the lack of ob was just astounding. He lost so many stray goons to mines he shame even Rock. The tank lure was pure genius.

Game 7: I don't exactly how or when he turned it round, but SkyHigh did it. It seemed that SkyHigh had a better understanding of the map than Hiya. Hiya's strategy primarily involved A-move towards the opposite main, whereas SkyHigh fully exploited the high grounds and the alternative routes. Hiya is potentially a better overall player, but I really don't think Oz planned for a game 7, whereas CJ definitely did.

CJ is too deep....too deep. Though teams like STX, and Khan(when their players arent collectively slumping) are pretty deep. OZ and ktf are unique in that aside from their stars the rest of their players are pretty incompetent in televised matches.

Oz shoulda sent out lomo on collo 2, young on medusa, and then hiya. I guess lomo must REALLY be slumping if Oz decided to use motherfucking SPEAR.

man what happened to lomo? he was fucking beastly during arena MSL(went toe-to-toe with flash during flash's prime)....

I still think T1 has the deapest team of all. You have:

Best
Bisu
Fantasy
and a bunch of new/old players who can take random games.

If only they didn't send bisu out so early to get sniped, they could have probably won the league.

Of course, Khan and STX aren't shabby either if their players performed...

Jangbi
Stork
FBH (hardcore slumping?)
Great (?)

Hwasin
Kal
July
Notice (?)
Hero (?)
