This was so abundantly clear that this was a pure bad-impulse coaching decision going into the 4th game. No way JD would have taken upon himself to 5pool in the 'deciding' game like that. no man. if someone on CJ was playing someone on Oz that isn't jaedong then CJ would be the clear favorite, since after all, Oz is a one man team. don't you get it?

I don't think the 5 pool was a bad idea, it could have worked... and even if it didn't they were +3. It was really unlikely for Skyhigh to all kill. Yeah it was a bad idea. It could have worked is not enough. Maybe enough if they were depending on someone like ToSky, but with jaedong on GODMODE, you should not take chances like that, even when in a 3-0 lead. Bad coatching, even if it would work.

I became a better person by witnessing this epic epic reverse all kill. Everybody knew skyhigh had something special - remember starleague offline prelims from some time ago? He used to 2-0 everyone and then choked in group stages - guess he was too young back then... And look at him now! He proved his imbaness by reaching GOM TV season 2 finals (on terrible P favoring maps), and now this... Took out JD, won two TvPs on two protoss favored maps AND won a TvT with 0-0 upgrades against 2-0... How crazy is that lol!!?? Congrats CJ, and thank you for my Liquibet skyhigh! Also, props to JD, he looked unstoppable, but hey... you can't win them all, can you. Hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I did! My voice is completely destroyed ... I screamed my heart out, acted like a fucking mad person. This was maybe the most epic moment in my 7 years of spectating and following progaming. Cheers holy crap hiya was 2-0 upgraddes??? O_O

JangBi's PvP % if you dismiss all games against Bisu is 83% since last summer. His problem is he keeps getting so far in leagues that he comes up against top players in bo5s. If he was slightly more mediocre then he'd avoid so many 0-3s.

CJ 4-3 Hwaseung Oz Damn Still think it was coach's decision to 5-pool (dumb idea) but Jaedong should still be plenty happy with CEMENTING his ZvZ And now it's just 50 games a day to 3-0 Fantasy

Spear and Hiya did horribly in their matches. Spear failure was hard to watch, he was just flailing around to the mines. For Hiya his attack on the natural was just pointless. He could have just concentrated on sealing his advantage but threw it away. Hiya did not play horribly, you take that shit back right now. Spear however fell into skyhighs traps and had really bad control. Hiya has terrible TvT. Check his records. In any case, Skyhigh's play was superior to Hiya's in that game. So does hwasin, so do many other players. Players have weak matchups, I'm talking about the game I saw, he played great Skyhighs multitasking with dships and map control was just a bit better. Hiya was in the lead for most of the game, the dropship play and when he shut down his 3rd, and consequently his 4th it really crushed hiya, along with taking out that 2nd gas earlier Yes and imo Hiya should not have lost when he had the lead. Hiya is statistically bad, but he is a good player and the second best player on Oz. So he should have won that match after gaining the lead just by playing a good TvT match.

As for my predictions On March 28 2009 16:28 Guybrush wrote: Predictions: JD>Effort JD>Iris JD>Savior JD>SkyHigh Well, wasnt expecting JD to 5pool, but it's not an excuse. Skyhigh might have won a straight up match too, we'll never know. Im happy about predicting correctly who they'd send out on each map though . Oz really missed another ace player like Anytime in this match; a baller who is clutch. Hands down to Jaedong for playing insane starcraft lately. Congrats to Coach Cho, CJ and Skyhigh on being the first WL champions!
