Actually, CJ and OZ both were kinda one-man teams here. :D

i disagree. CJ losing 0-3 to Jaedong and then winning 4-3 was BECAUSE OZ is a one man team.

Wow never would have expected SkyHigh to all kill.

Spear and Hiya did horribly in their matches. Spear failure was hard to watch, he was just flailing around to the mines. For Hiya his attack on the natural was just pointless. He could have just concentrated on sealing his advantage but threw it away.

Hiya did not play horribly, you take that shit back right now. Spear however fell into skyhighs traps and had really bad control.

I don't think the Hwaseung coach is ever going to trade Jaedong off. He'd rather trade off EVERY LAST PLAYER on his team if he could keep Jaedong on it. =P

Jaedong is going to become on of those players where you trade like fifty young b-teamers for him.

Hiya has terrible TvT. Check his records. In any case, Skyhigh's play was superior to Hiya's in that game.

I love how everyone says lecaf isn't a team, because only Jaedong won, but if you remember.. only 1 player from CJ got their wins, so how are they anymore of a "team" than Oz ?

This was so abundantly clear that this was a pure bad-impulse coaching decision going into the 4th game. No way JD would have taken upon himself to 5pool in the 'deciding' game like that.

Imo many CJ players could have performed that all-kill once jaedong was out of the picture. This makes them a better team.
According to Reach, he is the fastest learner he has ever seen. He start bw only like 2/3 years ago. Infact, his bw history knowledge is so limited, he didn't even know what the map Guillotine was.

Shock and Awe. I couldn't have possibly imagined a better finals. Thanks you progamers and korean SC scene. Thank you.

SKYHIGH looked like a badass, dark-horsing his way through Gom2 and having Jaedong's #, and now, most definitely, IS.

both players played reasonably well in set 7. not flawless, but some very creative play (especially by skyhigh) that made for some of the most exciting tvt i've seen

Props to the guy who posted looking at Skyhigh's vs P record was absolutely dumb. After that game vs Best where he just showed some SICK fucking mechanics I wouldn't underestimate him. He isn't the next Bonjwa by far but he has some skill.

I am so proud of CJ and skyhigh. Amazing series... Great job kid, we knew you could do it, we believed. I became a better person by witnessing this epic epic reverse all kill. Everybody knew skyhigh had something special - remember starleague offline prelims from some time ago? He used to 2-0 everyone and then choked in group stages - guess he was too young back then... And look at him now! He proved his imbaness by reaching GOM TV season 2 finals (on terrible P favoring maps), and now this... Took out JD, won two TvPs on two protoss favored maps AND won a TvT with 0-0 upgrades against 2-0... How crazy is that lol!!??

Congrats CJ, and thank you for my Liquibet skyhigh!

Also, props to JD, he looked unstoppable, but hey... you can't win them all, can you. Hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I did! My voice is completely destroyed ... I screamed my heart out, acted like a fucking mad person. This was maybe the most epic moment in my 7 years of spectating and following progaming. Cheers

So does hwasin, so do many other players. Players have weak matchups, I'm talking about the game I saw, he played great Skyhighs multitasking with dships and map control was just a bit better.

Hiya was in the lead for most of the game, the dropship play and when he shut down his 3rd, and consequently his 4th it really crushed hiya, along with taking out that 2nd gas earlier
