According to my friend the Korean commentators were screaming over and over again that Flash should do a science vessel eraser at 11.

Just move the drones and bring in the scourge-2 vessels sniped.
He did know about 11 o clock, check between 1:06 and 1:07 on the english commentary video.
Also, breaking 12 is easier than 11 since 11 has ramps+sunkens+a nydus canal that was up when Flash had his first two vessels. Also, 12 is open from three different angles while 11 is much harder to break.

yea for whatever reason well people see vessels dying against Jaedong they blame the terran for inattentiveness and not the excellent scourge/vessel sniping ability of jaedong. is this gonna b jaedong/hwasin PL all over again

12 is dangerous because of how he could be surrounded, which he was multiple times. 11's ramp was unprotected, lurkers were burrowed at the nydus. And a nydus is less dangerous than all the hatcheries at the zerg main and natural.

Which would be the case but
1) 12 isn't where all the hatcheries and zerg units are at, they're at 3 and going from 3 to 12 is far more time consuming then popping into a nydus canal to 11 and
2) he was never surrounded at 12, he used the wide open range to skirt around JD's Dark Swarms and kill the hatchery, twice, while keeping most of his forces alive, something would not be able to do if he sacked 11. If he went up that ramp, he wouldn't be coming down.
3) please stop, 12 is clearly easier to kill than 11 and he did so twice. 11 Had sunkens + nydus canal, 12 had nothing and is far more open to attack.

He actually lost a lot of his forces attacking 12. They were like kamikaze units, going in to snipe the hatchery only to be killed off by dark swarmed hydra/ling. Also his science vessels were much safer at 11 than 12, where hydras and scourge were able to pick off countless numbers of them. Also 12 was much easier for Jaedong to reestablish and protect. Once 11 was down, without a nydus it would have been extremely difficult to reestablish a base there.

Why couldn't Flash bring his units back down the ramp...?

Dude, Flash has insane decision making, he probably had a reason beyond your understanding. Stop trying to justify Flash's loss using excuses. He lost because JD simply played better. Get the fuck over it, jesus

You DON"T make tanks if you go SK terran. Thats the way you do things. Tanks are only useful until Z gets swarm, then tanks get picked off very easily. It wastes gas, delays your vessel + prolongs muta harrass, and Flash already knew that it was going to transition into late game at that point.

You need to credit how many vessel Flash lost to how well good is Jaedong's vessel sniping ability instead of trying to say Flash played lousy. This happens with every ignorant T fanboys everytime Z rapes SK terran build.

Flash's first decision in going for the 12 was a good idea, but going to the same base time and time again is just gonig to make Jaedong mose prepared and use to defending that area. Flash should of went for the 11 after his first attempt at 12 (whcih was a sucess). And mb switch around. but it was obvious that flash's multi tasking was lacking. From this game along its obvious that Jaedong's multi tasking is superior to flashs. Flash had a drop and then went afk with the dropped units for like 5 minutes. Then they all died to a single lurker that burrowed the INStant it saw marnies.

Was this before or after Flash lost all those vessels to scourge? Seriously, if what you say is true, then the commentators could not be more wrong. With Jaedong's scourge micro, sending vessels to do an eraser trick is like throwing them away.

Just attacking the base made Jaedong more prepared, he put up a second sunken at his 11 after his 12 got razed for the first time. I don't see why people would say that taking down 11 is easier, if he attacked 11, the one way he could escape is back down the ramp, and by then and maybe even when he reached 11, JD would've have noticed and trapped+raped his troops with DS/Plague.

agreed by late game Flash was completly commited to SK
switching to tanks/armory/upgrades would have created a gap in his MnM forces in which JD could have capitalized on.
