It takes time for a player to react to a drop by sending units through a nydus. They need to gather both lings and a defiler, and use consume if it doesn't have the energy. There are tons and tons of games where terrans successfully drop a bunch of marines onto a nydus containing zerg expo. Even if they don't kill the hatchery as long as they kill the drones that's good enough for the time being. | ||
