In this TvT, flash won not because of better micro (he did amazing with it) not because of better macro (also pretty much flawless), but he was able to make better decisions overall about when to attack, when to defend, and as importantly, where to defend and where to attack.

I don't think that's a valid argument, considering hwasin is in both leagues and proleague.. AND had to practise against zerg ( for yesterday's MSL) flash only had to practise against 1 race.. but in all honesty, I I don't think lack of practise, practise against different racial opponents, and in different leagues should really be used as an excuse.. if u made it in both starleagues.. u deserve to be there.. and ur expected to be able to have the schedule for it.. hence.. STARleague.. ur not just a pro..

I see your point, but you can't just change a counting system like that ![]() You'd have to revize the entire thing under a new name. Can't just change it to suit your preferences ![]()

ELO is meant to be a measure of skill, not dominance. Of course the ELO peak will rise over time.

The real issue is just how many games will Flash have to play next week and will he have any TvP left in the tank? He hasn't played any TvP for a long time now and ironically, TvP is now his worst matchup statistically. Of course, we're still talking about the indisputable (see Katrina, Medusa) best TvP player of this generation and possibly of all time here. He played a TvP vs Kal on Medusa this week. From what I saw I don't really think that hes what you would call "Rusty" with that matchup.

With 2 games remaining, 2 players will be 2-1 and 2 players will be 1-2. The two players who advance will be the players who win next week.
