July over Bisu, yeah big surprise right BUT.. I am predicting July goes three hatch scourge 5 hatch muta and not for a low econ build, unless Bisu doesn't fast expand or the map is bad for that zerg build for some reason.
Good chance for some interest TvTs, and then we can see ggplay get slaughtered.

july vs bonjwa
Heres to hoping July wrecks fake-bonjwa so we can move along.
Bisu<<<<< July Self explanatory. Not only do I want to see fans cry but July's ZvP has always been legendary.
Fantasy < Leta
Leta is hot right now, very much so.
Hwasin < Flash
This is probably the closest match of the night, Hwasin is playing like an absolute genius lately but Flash is being Flash.
GGplay < Luxury
I like GGplay for some reason, guy is classy. He's still going to lose to luxury though.

july stomp pretty boy! ugh!
The other matches... Who cares? (Hwasin!, GGplay shall win! Leta shall lose...).
Hm.. maybe Fantasy and Leta could both get a simultanious heart attack?... Really... I could not care less about any matchup in the history of Starcraft :p.

and bisu's a pretty good player. but he's definitely not bonjwa
By pretty good player i presume you mean best player in the world at multiple times, including during the past five months.
Also, you have to admit that, while he dosn't quite dominate like the Bonjwas did, he does have an impressive resume with 4 major titles, coming in an age when the competition is far better. And he has clearly shown himself to be the best toss ever.

Yes everyone agrees that Bisu is a great player. This is undeniable, but a bonjwa is not just a great player. If you were there back when Nada or Savior was considered bonjwa you would know the difference between their domination and bisu's "domination."
It isn't about titles, it's not about short stints at the top. It's being the single top player for a steady period of time, something that Bisu simply can't claim right now. Flash/Jaedong are both far too close in skill level. Bisu isn't a really clear favorite against Flash and certainly not the favorite against Jaedong.
I don't understand why people care so much about Bisu being named bonjwa anyway, what exactly does it matter?

I am just saying that if he wins the OSL its going to be hard to deny him the status, but anyway game time.
Edit, nooooo got the time wrong, probably gonna have to miss it now ):

His WL performance is also bad if you ask me, specialy for the player that you call "the best player in the world"..

I fail to see how him not qualifying for 2 tournoments thanks to a couple of days and a series of 4 games, makes him not the best player in the world during the last 5 months.
Since last sept. he is 58-20(74%) and has won 2 major golds.

I don't think people understand what the word "Bonjwa" means.
Bonjwa =/= the # of badges on your uniform, or how much money you earn from your contract
If this was true, July would've been Bonjwa, but he is not. If this is true, there would've been 2 kings during the Savior Era.
Bonjwa means domination. DOMINATION. It doesn't matter how many badges you carry, or how many BO5s you have won, all that matters is how much you fucking raped everyone IN THE ASS REGARDLESS OF MAP (Longinus, terrible map but look at Savior's score, and many more). For a Bonjwa, there is no such thing called a "Map Imbalance" or bad maps, every map is the same map for them. Throughout Bisu's career, nobody can argue that Bisu had a hard map pool to work against, infact he had many many lucky map pools.
The day I acknowledge Bisu to be Bonjwa, is the day he wins all his PvZs on TOTM (AGAINST COMPETENT OPPONENTS) proving map imbalance cannot stop him. Not to mention win PvTs on maps that favor Terran more than Toss.
However until then, he isn't a bonjwa. You guys can call him Bonjwa all you want, but until this happens, nobody will acknowledge it.
PS: okay I see alot of people bandwagoning to KTF these days. gtfo.

Those groups were basically insurance groups, and he still got kicked out of BOTH leagues and now has a pretty untested PvZ against any real competent zerg.
It is not enough to be the best in the world. You must be best in the world by a significant margin, and Bisu simply can not claim this. He's simply not a distinct favorite against every progamer out there. Just rest easy knowing that he's most likely the best player in the world right now with Jaedong and especially Flash nipping at his heels.

Flash is more of a bonjwa than Bisu. Flash has dominated 2 imbalanced maps heavily favouring Protoss (Katrina and Medusa), he has the All-Kill and several 3-Kills, and he never loses embarassingly to runts like by.hero. When Bisu loses, he complains that the map favoured Zerg. Bonjwas don't whine. Flash has a 30-10 record (75%) for his last 40 games.

I would call him neither a bonjwa nor the best player in the world. I would say FlaSh and Jaedong are good candidates for the latter, but no one on the scene right now has the caliber to take the title of bonjwa. I'm just wondering, for clarification, who are the actual bonjwas of past? I know NaDa and Savior are for sure, but the rest are slightly gray for me. Anyone care to name them?
FlaSh is 7-1 on Medusa, a map where it's 35-14 PVT. That's just ridiculous...
