thanks mr hoon! you rule!!

Okay. ive been thinking about it and HAD to say this. so (T)sKyHigh did some pretty serious cheese. but, if you read mrHoon's fine translation, we can see that the perfection of the cheese was a result of a week of intensive practice on that map alone, against that specific player. certainly, this isnt Jaedongs loss, he walked into a trap, essentially.

whos fault is it? OZ didnt have the depth to deal with CJ. if OZ had more depth, maybe CJ wouldnt have been able to forsee that (Z)Jaedong would be trying to stave off elimination for his team, on this map. but they obviuosly were able to see that it was going to happen and prepared accordingly.

CJ had multiple scenerios for closing out this series, and apprently, OZ Only had one realistic one.

although, ill admit, (T)HiyA is a badass and it was unlikely, but certianly possible, that he could have got an all-kill on CJ.
CJ forever (-_-(-_-(-_-(-_-)-_-)-_-)-_-)

I dunno, JD vs Suny and Hwasin vs Luxury aren't exactly yawnfests. Long TvZ games are rarely boring if you have two decent players. TvT and sometimes TvP can be.

Skyhigh knew he couldnt beatJaedong straight up so he cheesed him again, on a TvZ map. That is far from impressive

Terran cheese is the gayest thing about starcraft. They're already imba enough without cheese from just the cost efficiency and scv 60 life crap, and add terran cheese to that and you get 10 years of Terran dominating Zerg in starcraft.

Terran > Zerg, fact of Starcraft. Quote me

What's impressive is that he can use his brain to think up a creative rush that Jaedong didn't know how to respond too, rather than win by brute forcing his 300+ apm.

You don't earn a late game just for joining the game, you earn it by performing in your early game well enough to be able to carry your late game advantage. It is stupid to think that fighting against your opponents strength is a good idea. A lot of people here would fail at strategy.

I don't know about you but the second skyhigh was selected at least 10 people in this forum screamed "SNIPER". It was so blatantly obvious that skyhigh had some sort of specific build for Jaedong on this map that Jaedong himself had to know... so what does he do? He goes 12 hatch and doesn't scout which is pretty much begging to get hit hard by early pressure. That is exactly what happened.

No one to blame here but Oz and their lineup not performing so they don't have to rely on Jaedong. Two days before this match even forum goers knew that Oz would have to send out Jaedong last and rely on him to finish a match out being in a deficit because of the depth CJ has recently been showing. Fact of life and a fact of the game.

Still. I give it to skyhigh, it was brilliant. But that doesn't mean i have to like it. I'm a zerg lover first, Cj fan second.

Jaedong always gets screwed by these things. It's his fault, really.

I agree he is to blame for not scouting on a map like destination, but proxy can mean anywhere on the map since T buildings have the advantage of being able to move, you can't expect drone to search everywhere for something that might not be there and waste mining time compared to what an scv scouts

Anyhow, Skyhigh is still a dick for taking away Savior vs Jaedong highlight match

I never said I didn't give him credit. The kid planned his cheese for a week and practiced for it. I just called him a dick for taking away a possible match. Whats wrong with that?

Savior vs. Jaedong probably wouldn't be epic at all. That game on Desert Fox was like that largely due to the odd nature of the map.

It's as much Jaedong's "fault" (if we can even use that word to describe this) for not making it to the Ace match. I don't see how you can pin the blame on only one party involved.

Wow you whine so much AND you call Terran imbalanced AND you place blame on SkyHigh. What the hell do you want him to do? Play straight up and lose? Would YOU do that if you were in his place?
