Very funny. I want to see more cheese like this and then enjoy kids whining all over, so entertaining. Well, dont be a moron.. Who love cheeses? How bout you playing all your SC games in only 5mins each, and using SCVs/Drones to fight? Fun aint it? The fact that the cheese is brilliantly planned was awesome, but it's still kind of immorale.. Someone take all Boxer and Nal_rA trophies from them! I mean July 5 pooled BeSt, take his Golden mouse and OSL away! Get lux out of MSL, he 5 pooled in qualifieres. please. To be fair, those players also showed the ability to play well in every other aspect of the game. When Jaedong loses to players like Frozean and Skyhigh in the early game, it's only natural that the general fan (probably correctly) assumes those players couldn't normally beat him otherwise.
I don't understand why people believe that everyone is automatically entitled to a mid-late game play. If you don't survive through the early game then it's over.
This is exactly what happened with Best - July. Best has terrible early/mid game and great late game. I don't understand why you would play to your opponents strength when there is money/record/etc on the line.
But yea I know where the response is coming from, I just don't understand it.

it's not about "fans". It's about people complaining JD got cheesed like every game of Starcraft should only start after the 5 minute mark and units should only be used to fight straight up. It's ANNOYING to read the shit 3 pages straight. We should all complain that mech is cheese vs Zerg and FE into sair is cheese vs Zerg too right? TL should be more versed in SC strat to know better than this.

cheese is awesome. stop hating. if jd won, u wouldnt be complaining. its hard seeing ur other fav team lose, but its all good since ur other fav team won. cuz cj won = savior won. go savior!

In this match, this is due to three factors: 1) The general map pool favors terrans and 2) vT is generally the worst or middle MU for all the players on Lecaf excluding Backho, and 3) vZ is generall the best or middle MU for their 3 current aces.
I'm not acting condescending toward, just pointing out some things. If it was CJ vs SKT on zerg favored maps, I'm sure Kwanro/Savior/Effort would be getting a lot of playtime.

That's expected, it's the instinct after someone's favorite player loses to cheese, no matter how brilliant. Be thankful it hasn't continued past 3 pages. I honestly don't know what you're expecting, I haven't read one post about how anything is Overpowered.

Has CJ played KTF yet? I'd like to see how that'd pan out.
Samsung Kahn and SKT1 are 2/3 of their next matches so they'll be entering dragon territory. STX also has a pretty deep line up so i'm planning to watch all of CJ's games

Wow, PL threads have grown 3x longer since the start of WL. MSL and OSL too. 50 page LR are a common occurrence nowadays.

epic strat by skyhigh, he defiantly deserved the win, even if it makes me hate SC (as a Z player).
|
On a more humble note, I'm sorry I've doubted you Memory.

Can someone who's better than me at sc explain why JD would decide to not scout on a 1v1 map when the other team is trying to snipe him?
Was he just trying to autopilot through this game as best he could to play the ace without being mentally exhausted?
Can't help but feel bad for him though when his team relies on him so damn much.
CJ on the other hand always seems to be developing new talented players. If their lineup is week for a few months, it's the deepest lineup in proleague afterward. Can't help but love it ^^

Yeah i'm quite surprised Lecaf is first. Hiya just shined only recently, Lomo and Young don't seem too reliable, ForGG is decent, I guess it's usually just some random getting 1 win and JD winning 2 games in scheduled and ace match. 2 more seasons to go though and I expect the deeper team to get 1st.
I think Flash has what it takes to take out the Terran and Zerg heavy line-up of CJ. Doubt Movie can do much against him
|
Where the hell was ForGG? CJ got scared of him and only sent out Terrans? Whatever, I wanted CJ to win anyways. Wish Savior had popped his head in one of the games though.

STX also has a pretty deep line up so i'm planning to watch all of CJ's games I really don't see STX as much of a threat at this point. Their players are all for the most part very easy to pick off, as they all have specific matchups that they are really weak in. Kal is very vulnerable to any of CJ's Terrans considering the map pool, July is an easy snipe with sAviOr and EffOrt's ZvZ prowess. Hwasin may prove difficult depending on the maps, but he's far from untouchable. I could go on. Point being that for most of STX's lineup, CJ has a simple response that puts them in a very good position to take that player out.
I can see KTFlash giving CJ really trouble, and SKT might have a chance, but I think CJ can also handle KHAN just as easily as they can handle STX imo.

No player interview, Instead, Coach Cho!
- Your team has 6 wins in a row ▲ Because of what happened on the MBCgame match, we got to 3rd place in PL score. For that I am very happy
- When winner's league started, did you expect this? ▲ I didn't expect 6 wins in a row. During rounds 1 and 2, we were at the lowest point, but the new players of our team did their best, and soon at 3rd round they started to do amazing.
- What makes your team so strong in Teamleague format? ▲ Alot of people say we're better because we dominated the old Teamleagues, but the environment is alot different than before. Ofcourse it would be a lie to say my experiences with it didn't help but one of the main reasons why we're doing good is because my players has experienced everything. And ofcourse our fans have always been so great to us.
- You used your terran card alot today ▲ Using only the terran line wasn't something planned on today. Its just that all my terran players said they were confident to play today and they had evaluated all the maps and possibilities of every player. Especially SkyHigh, he knew Jaedong would play today on destination so all he did was practice on that map. Also, Memory and Iris did their jobs perfectly to drag the game to Destination and let SkyHigh finish it up. Everything worked perfectly and Skyhigh did exceptionally well with his part.
- When did SkyHigh start practicing sniping Jaedong? ▲ Skyhigh was practicing how to snipe Jaedong for a full week. Coach KIMDONGWOO said Jaedong will appear on Destination no matter what, so all our teammates helped SkyHigh practice just for this set.
- It looks like you can get into post season with results like these now ▲ All our fans always said we will make it to the playoffs, but we always failed and dissapointed them over and over again. My players knew this and always felt bad for the fans. So this seaon, we tried to reach for something higher than normal. If we can enter the Winner's League Playoffs, I think it will mean something big for us. There are so many new players in our team who are experiencing how leagues work who couldn't experience this previously, like Effort, SkyHigh and Movie. I believe this will make these 3 players ready and prepared for rounds 4 and 5.
- Next is STX ▲ Before we came here today, I had a talk with the team. I told them even if we lose, this is no easy team so lets not get bummed out, but instead think of this as a good experience when we lose. So I told them not to worry about it too much. STX is no easy team, but we will show our good performance against them too.
- Iris and Savior are coming back, you must be very happy ▲ For that, I am very thankful for them. During rounds 1 and 2, all the old players lost their chance to play because of the new players so I am pretty sure they were dissapointed. I think after they saw these new players take over their spots in teams the old decided to shape up and try harder. They are trying reall hard now and they bring the team up morally too now. Words cannot express how happy I am.
- Goals for Winner's League? ▲ First of all I am very happy we defeated the strongest Hwaseung Oz. Today's victory was such a great victory, but still it is only 1 victory. We will do our best with the remaining 5 winner's league games, and I hope we can show the same performance during rounds 4 and 5. Everyday we dream of the finals in Busan and we will do our best to reach to that point. And lastly, I want to thank our dedicated fans who always kept with us. We will do our best to show you good games.

Poor Jaedong but great job CJ. Their teamplay is so good.
