I've got it going. Two base mutas crushed UpMagic's mech build. Up lost his expo CC and now yarnc is getting bydras to finish the job as he takes his third.

ok i missed a lot, but it looks like yeah his third is up. hero has a huge mass of lings coming towards much's natural (which appears to have taken some dmg, the cannons are gone) the lings are now clearing out even more of the nat.

looks like much's army was in the center taking out those middle buildings, and had to go back to clear out the lings. some dt's plus the return of muchs army finishes off the lings without them doing much damage outside of the front buildings/cannons of much's nat.

skip, i see much destroying like 7 ultras at hero's fourth base. looks like reinforcements kill off most of whats left of much's army though before he can take out the hatch. the bodies indicate a TON of dead ultras though.

my guess is they lowered the bandwidth outside of korea as they get no revenue outside of korea

how convenient, next game starting right when i get back. map is byzantium 2, yarnc is white zerg at top left, hero is teal at bottom left.

both scouted correctly with overlords. i can't tell you their build orders, but it looks like both have one hatch, gas, and pool making, though yarnc's gas is already finished and being mined from.

screen shows hero's second hatch near done at his nat (guess i missed it before, or the stream skipped more than i was thinking it would, lol). yarnc has his second hatch building still, but it looks like its inside his base, near his ramp? hero's is now done and there are some drones mining minerals. he's setting up a line of about 8 lings at his nat and the minimap shows yarncs lings coming towards them

woah make that a lot more than 8, lol. skipped and i see a lot more than that there, before the screen cut away to yarncs roughly equal or smaller sized force heading back to his base. heros spire is for sure done, and i see some mutas and 2 scourge out. yarnc also has a force of mutas, cant tell which is bigger.

this sucks for anyone who was hoping for me to get lucky, but the stream skipped ahead to the very end of a muta battle taking place at heros natural. yarnc won, and hero's left with 1 or 2 muts running away while yarncs stick around to destroy the nat/drones whatever. hero promptly GGs and yarnc is on his way to the Ro16.

Much v Upmagic @ byzantium has started. Much bottom left, Up bottom right. Much has a pylon and a gate warping in, upmagic building his barracks at the bottom of his ramp for (I assume) a wall. Much's gas is started, but Ups isnt.

The twins are tearing it up today happy me . Clearly the best zergs after Jaedong and even at times are doing better .

Much threw up another gateway and what I assume is a core at some point. meanwhile, Up has started a CC at his nat and then FINALLY starts his gas. his barracks is now lit up after the gas well.

stream skipped a bit, but it looks like up has lifted his barracks? he's building a factory and has a marine chasing around much's scout (which from the path it took, looks like it checked the center then went straight to his base)

upmagic appears to be pushing towards much's base with at least 3 tanks, and some marines. a DT is following behind trying to kill the marines, but there are mines up front. an arbiter is already out.

oh man tense stuff. stream skipped and i saw like 5 tanks with a couple mines near them and a vulture or two against a couple zealots and a goon or two with an arbiter support. up scans and takes out most of it. stream skipped again, but this time its 3 goons under the arb vs 2 tanks. unfortunately a mine goes off and takes out all 3 goons.

oh man i gotta watch this game later, lol. theres now a bigger army for much sitting protecting his nat, with seiged tanks and a minefield farther out by the min only. much keeps mine dragging with zeals though and gets a couple vults a couple times. a second arbiter is out. stream skipped and there are some turrets at that contain now too. but whats this! much's units are together and arbiter is beelining towards the top of much's main!

recall into upmagic's base, although much didn't have enough to do that and defend at home, so all of his nat nex probes get killed.

it looks like he committed with the recall, but i'm only getting shots of much's natural which is now destroyed and being defended from like 7 tanks with 2 arbiters and a dragoon. woah the recall did some damage though for sure, i see a bunch of downed buildings and burning ones while the tanks are going back.

much now has 3 arbiters out and is on 1 base, not looking good. he's got a bit of an army, but its nothing compared to upmagic's. two arbiters on the way to ups main, but ones about to die to goliaths, and there are mines all over the place

much's nat gets razed, and much keeps trying to be agressive so that he can get his third. Tough though, as he has no obs and is having trouble clearing spider mines

both arbiters die before doing any kind of recall. much looks surprisingly calm. his army of 6 goons 2 zeals and 2 HTs (make that 1 archon) is about to get run over though.

no i didn't, but it certainly didn't work. up had his ebay up when i saw the DT still moving across the map, so i'm sure those turrets were up when they pushed into the nat (which explains why i saw a hurt DT and little to no goons outside the base)

Hero sends a drone to his expo, but his scouting drone didnt see a rax (which up hid at the far end of his base) so then he drops a pool first and later sends a drone out to expo.
HAHA now he has 4 drones waiting at his nat for NO REASON expecting the bunker. Up went gas into fac with one rine.

Really sweet move by Up there. Faking the bunker rush. The first two lings are in his base, and his vult pops just in time. Hero's whole build is screwed up now. Up expos after his first vult, and gets a machine shop. Up is also mining the mineral backdoor to Z base.
Hero gets a lair and hydra den.

upmagic has his rax floating over the z nat already. a couple hydras are out for hero. He has two hatches and a spire 1/3 the way done. Up is expoing and is giong to need some air d quick.

Spire halfway done. Up has two facs but I dont see an armoury. He starts it now but it is too slow. He tries to run in his 4 vults, but hero was smart by blocking the way with his new hatch. Hero moving south with his hydras now, and almost picks off the terran tank chilling in the middle f the map.
I think Up is too slow with gols here. hero has 6 hydras and mutas coming. Up's mines might save him... but these mutas will be tough to deal with.

Apparently I am looking at my keyboard and not the game... Hero has no mutas, only hydras. He runs 12 of them into the T nat, and they get wrecked by scv + seige tanks.
Why the hell didn't he get mutas? He might be too poor, he doesnt have many drones at nat.

Three hatches for hero still, 4 facs for UpMagic. Up running around laying mines all over to catch rallied troops, but hero is doing a good job spreading his overlords. Hero tries to cross the bridges a couple more times, but he isn't getting anywhere.
Ok, now he is just suiciding hydras across the bridge UpMagic gets another vult behind the nat mins, and Hero GG's. I guess he was just going to hydra pump to try and break the nat but... it doesn't work.

Can't decide if it's better or worse that Savior doesn't have to play ZvZ next round. Probably worse, especially given how good Up's TvZ has been lately, but we'll have to just wait and see what the Maestro has prepared.

I think Savior has become a bit of a ZvZ sniper in these later years so that probably would have been better for him. ZvT is probably his worst matchup right now, but its also his best chance to prove himself! I do hope savior can crush a good mech build

Any good player will scan when mutas should pop before putting turrets. It's a risk if your feint is exposed.

was very confused by this game (i just watched them all) but this helps me understand it a lot more

Upmagic shows us again why he is regarded as Boxer Jr (or something). He displayed a lot of unorthodox play as well as entertaining games. What he lacks in macro, he makes up with innovation.
