Even though that was crazy costly, those 2 tanks would probably have destroyed his hydra army that could not have possibly gotten to them. But it definitely looked intentional in the replay, down to the unit mixture. He never gave up on the mutalisks and kept picking off tanks at every opportunity to make sure go.go's tank:goliath ratio was scewed enough for a small number of queens to be tide-turning in a battle. Then when the queens weren't ready during gogos first push, he countered with his flank force to bring him back to his base. I think he did a lot better at taking out tanks than he had even hoped for though, since there were only two left by the time gogos push came and the queens got them with like 2 broodlings to spare.
