I turned on this stream to see Rock break a massive push. I thought Rock had it in the bag at that time. Then the observer clicked around and showed that he was mining from one nexus? Had one gas?? Like 7 gates total?

jesus .. he managed to almost break fbh since he cut his probe production and amassed so much army so quickly.. then he tried to finish with the same tactic, but good chokes by fbh owned him..

Yeah, rock didn't have a chance to tech up. He had to try and keep FBH away, since terran can set up a very strong slow push on that map. But I think FBH's shakiness also shined through, he got caught out of position too many times.

FAIL.

Rock could have gone straight carrier right after that and easily won.
He could have added templar and won. Shuttles. Scouts. Dweb. Arbiter?
Don't gimme that he was too tight on econ bullshit.
He wasted disgusting amounts of units. Rock wants to genocide the protoss.
FBH did do the best plays he could given the scenario after getting reamed in the center.
But that was.... sigh.. so so so fail.

God, just some ht's in the mix would have done it. Just... it's not that hard, ok Rock? You just add templar archives, research storm, and there you have it! Caveman protoss style sucks. It's like a non elegant less refined version of spirit toss with a huge lesser winrate.
