he is a good player, but he's not great. he can compete in division 3 and probably win most of the time, and do well in division 2 as well. but would you really sacrifice NrG's reputation to have a mid-level player on your team?

No, and that's the same argument I have for the people who want to give him a chance on our team. Even if someone has a horrible reputation you can always gain it back, but in his case, he is still a BM prick if you ever have to sit down and talk to him.

I highly doubt he will get his reputation back because 1) the best way he can do it is through LAN performances, and he had a chance of playing in WCG this year but fucked it up, and there aren't many other LANs he can participate in 2) his ICCUP rank seems like its really shady in some way, whether it be newb bashing or abusing or whatever 3) his character alone makes it seem really improbable for him to redeem himself
