The FINAL was a joke. JD gets manhandled by ForGG and not Lomo? JOKES!!
I'd say this is right up there with Bisu upsetting Savior. Lomo plays nearly perfectly to the terran book. Forgg reads a completely different version of it. Not a new version though. I believe fOrGGs book was written by lastshadow.

I don't understand why vs lomo/hwasin JD would use clever early lurker/2hat muta builds but uses the completely dead 3 hat muta build twice against FORGG?
Seriously 10 points of coolness for whoever can name the last time jaedong won a ZvT with a 3 hat muta build without dealing a catastrophic amount of early ling damage?
Its been over 2 months for sure ...

i can tell you a strat that jaedong would have won with:
Just skip muta and go to lurk. We all kno how good terran is at stopping muta harass now so just go lurk. having 10 lurkers instead of 10 mutas would have atleast done better if not win the game. I think going very ling heavy to stop the first ball then going lurkers should be the new strat. Even tho the terran can get firebats, mass lurkers will eat that alive. Still, with like 24 lings, surrounding the terran ball even if he has 1 firebat or so would make that ball lose power.
Then with lurkers, secure 3rd/4th gas, +1 on carapace right after lurkers (comon getting this is much better than wasting 900 gas on mutas atleast) THEN hive. While that happens, get spire. Finally its late game, dealing with ForGG's macro should be tough as hell. However, realizing how he had so much tanks and his vessel count wasnt that high, guardians should do the job (along with lurkers of course).
*also, if the terran sees the lurk tech and doesnt build turrets, dropping and slowing down the eco would greatly benefit late game*

I'd have to say. This current year of SC pro-gaming has been quite a let-down... Both MSL and OSL were 1 sided 3:0s. Let's hope we get a good PL. SKT vs Khan please.
Flash vs Jaedong GOM please.

His Achilles Heel was his TvT, but in this MSL alone he beat Sea[Shield] 2-0 where he was previously 0-6 against him, and he took a Bo5 against Flash 3-1. Other than TvT, ForGG's greatest weakness is that he has very little experience in Bo5's. But the series against Flash shows that ForGG is an expert at analyzing his opponent's playstyle and preparing excellent counter-builds to exploit their tendencies. This is especially relevant as ForGG and Jaedong are teammates. If he was able to destroy Flash so easily, who's to say he can't do the same with Jaedong? My prediction: ForGG 3 - 2 Jaedong.
ok so i didn't get the score correct but honestly not many people believed in forgg at all!

Considering Julys way to the OSL finals, I seriously dont think we have more than 1-2 Zergs that actually can reach a finals in JD and Lux. But they're just so much better than the rest of every other zergs you see basically.
The amount of good terrans this season for example was just silly in comparacy.
3-0 was abit of a letdown, but DAMN, forGG played well... Really good.
JD looked SICKELY tired though during the ceremony. Btw can anyone translate that?

forgg had a good run this season, but in my opinion he will not be able to repeat this. Success built mainly on ingenious/well-executed builds just isn't nearly as sustainable as straight-up strong mechanics.

well I'm looking positively at this situation and am seeing a new Zerg rising extremely soon. The 3 hatch muta that was raping Protoss and Terrans left and right has now been raped itself. Im very curious to see what will come from this situation. Muta harass windows have now been officially closed and fast hive tech timings have been timed against.
We need some kind of GOD to save us from the coming dark times. I don't know... maybe a Zerg that just moved up from B team and has a place to fill as a falling team's ace?

Name a single player who has played better this month. I don't know how the fuck we arrived at this conclusion, but we have: ForGG raped everyone this month, no questions asked.
hahahaha its so surreal

With that I agree, its like zergs have only very few top-top players and the rest just fill it up, while terrans have several top top players and the rest are pretty good, while protosses are all pretty good - noeither very top, nor lousy

He'll do very well until Zerg players find a way to counter it.

Perhaps a queen would have turned the game around!

To me, fOrGG's MSL run is very reminiscent of Mind's a couple seasons ago... taking down heavy favorites and asserting his position as a solid contender in his own right.
A fOrGG fan I ain't, but from a player's perspective, I admit that he demonstrated some awe-inspiring mechanics in these games. From a spectator's perspective, it leaves a lot to be desired, but this is something I've come to expect from the SC pro scene lately.
