HOLY SHIT. That's totally boxer right there - a multi-stage strategy with pinpoint execution. It's obvious as day who played better there. Watching game 2 now.

OR how you could not be a fan of very exciting games, which jaedong vs FlaSh would have given us. if you think forgg has a chance against jaedong well then -_-;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; to you. biggest upset ever if that happens imo. edit: if forgg wins i'll never post on TL.net again I'd rather see forGG v. Jaedong because it's clear that forGG prepares well for a series, and Flash... 14CCs into macro mode, every game. You're just buying into empty hype if you seriously think Flash is a better contender right now. Mechanics only take you so far. It's impossible for people to be reasonable on the internet, but at least pretend to try to get this- forGG is really good at Starcraft. He has a strong TvP and TvZ, with a much improved TvT this season. His macro is insane, his timing is pinpoint, he's proven that his preparation is top notch... and his previously laughable micro is improving. He's been quietly on the rise for the past two seasons or so, while Jaedong and Flash were hogging the spotlight. More importantly- forGG and Jaedong are teammates, they know each other's habits and have had lots of hands-on experience against each other. There's going to be a lot of mindgames going on in this MSL final, whereas Jaedong v. Flash... yeah, not so much. Don't kid yourself- Flash as The Ultimate Weapon needs a reload, because he's been shooting blanks lately. The OSL curse hit, Flash is done, and it remains to be seen if he'll get back into dominating form or if he's going to just be another strong player who doesn't have the spark to win it big anymore. But if you want to keep thinking that an Ultimate Weapon with mostly blanks in the clip (who got dropped from the OSL by Luxury) would honestly be a better match for Jaedong after he just DISMANTLED Hwasin and Much... Case in point- Flash has had ample opportunity to do a bit of research and see that forGG has been tearing through people with great timing attacks- hell, Flash himself had the chance to play against forGG and lost to a timing attack. So what does Flash do? Instead of preparing for the inevitable timed rush, he just fast expands as usual. That is not the kind of player who is going to beat Jaedong.

He knew what FlaSh would do and he knew that his builds would create 5 second windows of opportunities. The games played out exactly as he had planned them to and he executed FlaSh with ease. FlaSh playing like he did today would have gotten raped. I'm really quite hyped to see a fOrGG final. Also this is the second ever teammate final and the first was a fucking legend.

I'm just disappointed in flash for not even reaching the damn finals. I was thinking that FlaSh didn't really try that hard against luxury the 2nd game because he was saving his energy for the MSL/was very surprised from luxury's brilliant strategy in game 1. just like jaedong lost to Hwasin 3 times in proleague before their BO5 series in the MSL. he played dumb for 3 games against hwasin, pretending to not know how to switch up his strategy and making hwasin think that he knew how to beat jaedong. jaedong was doing a test in those games to see if he absolutely had to switch up his strategy in order to counter what hwasin was doing. he even tried it for the first BO5 game of the final, making hwasin think up to the last possible second that he wasn't going to change his strategy. and that's just what jaedong did and an overconfident hwasin tried the same thing he had in the proleague every game in the BO5 and jaedong was too prepared for it. i was expecting jaedong to get to the msl finals no matter how many times he loses in proleague. i was thinking the same about FlaSh but i guess not. edit: yes, there will be a lot of mind games going into the final but that's not what necessarily makes a good final for spectators. i just think that since they know each other very well, and jaedong being the better player, will take the final easily. jaedong doesn't fuck around in starleague BO5's. he's one of the clutchest progamers ever. anyway, hopefully flash meets jaedong in GOMTV finals

NO ONE blows off an individual league game. Teams claim that they value proleague over individual leagues but that's a fucking farce. If you actually think players slack off for any of their individual league games I don't know what to say to you. The only case where it was blatantly obvious players where throwing games was Iris and GGPlay going out in the first round of MSL offline qualifiers a week before their Daum OSL finals match for obvious reasons.

If forGG goes all the way, it would be nice if he stayed on the map for a little while longer (much like Bisu when he took down rA) rather than become another lame one-hit wonder that denied us an incredibly epic and hyped match between two titans.

p.s. i hate fanboys who can't accept that their favorite player lost because they were the worse player at that time in that matchup
