Sure, Lux had a mental breakdown it's not like that was spontaneous! We have to give all credit to BeSt for having the mental fortitude to stay in this match down 2-0 with lings running around in his base and 2-1 with his nexus near dead. That is balls. Especially given the map pool, this was more BeSt's victory than Lux's loss.

Whoever organized the TLPD statistics made a mistake by not including some of Best's matches in Survivor Tournaments and Dual Tournaments. His PvP skills are something to behold, there's no doubting in that, but lets not get carried away by incorrect statistics. In his relatively short career, he lost four times to Stork, twice to Lucifer, twice to Jangbi and once each to Rock, Bisu and ForU. That's eleven defeats, not five as TLPD records. I'm bitter as hell because Luxury should have taken that series. Best's played very well, but it was nothing a top class zerg couldn't handle, not in this map pool. Luxury is going to have sleepless nights over this because he knows that he screwed up, and he is a better player than what he has shown tonight. Survivor and ODT are all in TLPD, what are you talking about? http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/individual-leagues Offline prelims are missing, but that doesnt matter

I think Best's pvz is solid but not that great, it's more Lux's mental unstablity. He sacrificed a group of lings in game 3 and thought he is ahead, played too greedy in game 4 and too passive in game 5. Now it is a golden chance for July. Now or never, God of war ! I've been wondering about that too. But maybe it's because he somehow knew he couldn't win a straight up game that exceeded a rush like strategy or something? His series against Stork was crap and maybe it didn't improve much in his preperation for this match thinking I really need some early advantage to win or I'm just dead with my ZvP skills later as the game progresses? Just a thought.

Best played better and deserved his place in the finals. I'm just dissapointed because the finals was Luxury's for the taking and he failed to capitalize on this golden opportunity.

Luxury , luxury , luxury i guess you are not ready to be a champion yet , congrats to you for makeing it this far and congrats to Best for not chokeing like most players .... I was looking forward to seeing Luxury maybe on #2 spot on the PR next month if he won , but all well remember that there is always next time and try to take this time as experience , and if you have even i slight advantage use it to annihilate your opponent ...

I'll mention some matches TLPD doesn't record. The most recent match TLPD doesn't record was Best's match against Lucifer in the 14th Survivor Tournament in Feb 4th 2008. Best lost 1-2 to Lucifer and failed to qualify for the MSL. TLPD hasn't recorded this. If you don't believe this match happened, take a look at Lucifer's winning interview (it's in Korean, not sure if any English site has this match covered). http://www.fomos.kr/board/board.php?mode=read&keyno=51764&db=interview&cate=&page=1&field=&kwrd=

Never liked Luxury that much anyhow. His multitasking and reaction times suck too much. Still feel like crap though.
