FBH TvZ is very good. He practiced a lot with Savior  and with good results. I'm sure he will take game one. 3:0 for Khan so Stork wouldn't show his amazing abilty to loose again in his strongest matchup... Or maybe Jangbi 5 minutes in the PvT domination are gone and he will be taken by On Fire Hwasin ? We would see. I hope there will be Corinthos stream or at least TheFoReveRwaR good as always Live Reports.

Kal can take Stork, so it'd be nice to see those two take each other on. Good lineups all around, everyone has the ability to display some strength (Hwasin is no slouch in TvP after all.)

Whoa, nice lineup. Calm, FBH, Hwasin, Jangbi, Kal, Stork, and then you have July in the 2v2? Not a single no-namer/up-and-comer. All battle-tested veterans. Should be a good match.
I would have liked to see FBH vs Hwasin since they do have a little bit of a rivalry, but good match-ups nonetheless. If it goes to Ace, I can't imagine who each team would send out.

FBH is the favorite, but not by all that much in my opinion. Calm definitely has a chance to win this. Specially if he avoids a quick loss from a sunken break before his mutas come out.

Ok game one. Calm vs FBH on Othello. FBH at 8, Calm at 2. Fbh supply depots below his cc to make scvs spawn closer to the mins. Calm 9 overlord with 3 drones. 12 hatchfrom him. Fbh rax's near his cc. No rax yet so we will be seeing a standard 1 rax cc from him. Wow calm makes gas before pool lol. FBh's scv still hasnt arrived. Here it comes. Lets see how fbh reacts to this timing. Should be interesting.

Fbh harassing the 1 drone at the natural. OHH FAKEBUNKER!!! But calm isn't fooled. He knows the timing and that there is no rush. FBH flashes one rine but cancels the scv building and runs the rine right away. NIce discipline from calm there....very...calm of him.

FBH has cced as expected and his bunker comes up as 4 lings runs up. 2 marines behind it closer to the ramp. Calm simply takes out the neutral building. I guess the lings were angry at not getting to kill anything A

Calm with about 18 or s o lings at the front and a lair done. Spire started with an early second gas in a classic all in speedling/muta build. It will all come down to micro. FBH should just go ahead and build a second bunker imo. Just to be safe. He probably won't though, because hes a lot bettert than me
Marines move out, picking off a few slow to react lings. The mutas come in but only 6 r them so calm cant really do much yet. He gets one marine. 2 more mutas joining the clump. And another 2. Calm takes the 2nd gas and begins to pump drones. If calm can get good kills with this muta group he will be in fantastic position.

Nice control gets 2 more kills but calm misses an opportunity with his lings + mutas to clear the group TT. Tough break.

1 and a half groups mnm moving out, sorta..pretty risky. Calm has massed a lot of mutas and fbh loses more rines, 5 or so. But gets 2 mutas. Ooo calm misses an opportunity to pick off 2 medics. Mutas dancing around the mnm "ball" as they get near the 2nd nat. Great hold position micro gets another 5 or so marine kills. Calm hitting t he main now. Gets nice scouting of fbhs 5 rax->2 ebay 1fact--->port + vessel. Build OHHH Calm picks off a science vessel and a bunkch more rines. About 10 lurks semi containing. Vessel out and the T army attempts to gain map control.

Calm looks in a great position, 3 gas bases, plenty of mutas and lurkers.
This map seems really good for ZvT.

12 or so lurks and a handfull of lings from calm. The rsult of his heavy gas + low hatch style. He has a hive 2 evos and defiler mound done. He lost a few lurks delaying the T army but he did well. Defiler looks to be almost ready and fbh is still at one vessel. TERRAN MOVING INTO THE SECOND NAT! THE DRONES RUN. A HUGE LURK ARMY RIGHT BEHIND THE MAIN T FORCE. SWARRRMM SWARMM 4 LURKERS RIGHTON TOP OF THE T ARMY. THE OTHER 12 MOVE IN, FBH PINED! Wow great job by calm there. He got some many killsand barely lost anything!

Calm taking the main at 5. Pushing with dark swarm and clumpsof 5 or so lurks. Very nice dark swarms allow him to get very close to the nat. Fbh's army tries to move around but simply runs into more awesome swarms +mass lings and lurks. This is fucking rape lol.

3 vessels barely escape loses against 4 scourge. FBH able to take out the 4th base but as he does that about 12 lurkers run up to his 2nd expo and swarm coversthem. MNM dying all over the place. FBH getting sloppy under the pressure. Hes doing a good job to hold his second expo though. OOO 3 vessels are sniped by scout. FBH moving outnow. MNM again pure lurk. Some lurks lost but FBH turns back. WOW HORRIBLE MULTITASK FROM FBH. A single swarm + lings takes out a group of mnm with no loses. 4 vessels barely escape. Swarms go up near the terran ball at the 2nd nat and fbh runs back while sending pure mnm to the top of the map to take out a building hatch.

More fantastic swarm gets lurks right on top of the scvs but fbh has massed 6or so tanks and the defilers are gone. LOL wow fbh is actually coming back. Great game. He has the min only at 6 now. CALM HAS FAILED to get a single expo up after his 3rd. Hes way behind in macro though the min only shut down. HOLY SHIT AMAZING SCOURGE CLONE + LING SACRAFICE GETS 4 VESSELS , MAYBE 5!

Never the less FBH sieges up behind the mins at the 2nd nat. Calm forced to run his drones. Hes struggling with only a few lurks /defs + a small number of lings. Calm really suffered from lack of larvae this game. Because of his tech/macro patern he was very slow in adding more hatchs. He had nice timing with his techs and nice micro, but not the units to back it up.
FBH once again crushes a new mining expo of calm.
FBH losing mnm like he doesnt care about them Dropship loaded up. Another hatch with no drones falls. The first ultras appear. Calm snipes a dropship with scourge. 1 rine lived though. Im sure hes happy about that.

FBH snipes the 2nd gas with 4 marines on the high ground. A very nice plague ( alittle late on that spell calm). + All the zergs army takes out a good numbero fmnm + tanks. Buttttt, FBH has like 10 vessels and unreal macro. As the huge swarm of vessels flys over a ling, Calm ggs.
Fbh does a rediculous but obviously very very practiced dance.
Better than his others gotta be honest.

Calm played well but it was pretty bad of him to fail to protect ANY of his expos. He was far too focused on aggresively darkswarm pushing that he didn't have to time maintain a solid transition into a late game finisher.

Checked the SPL2008 stats on TLPD and TvZ is the most imbalanced matchup so far. ZvP is actually the most balanced statistically.
Also there have been more TvTs than ZvZs and PvPs combined.

Well because of theconstant action we didnt get a good look at the main base of calm. Also he really shouldve been able to defend his expos fairly easily. He had the units to do it. He just had them out of place.

Maybe July's the only one that knows how to handle terrans. Afterall, Calm lost a game vs Mind just recently where Mind had the sloppiest unit control EVER. Can't blame that on TvZ imba, Calm was just even more trash

Hwasin does the what seems to be the new progamer standard and builds his depot directly below his cc to makes scvs spawn closer(when mins are on the right side). He 12 rax/12 gas' building his second depot to the right of his rax to form a zealot proof gap with the fact. Jangbi going 1 gate range with an early zeal to pressure. It chases the first marine and manages to trap and kill the second

Ooo jangbi forced hwain to make vult first and got a probe by and saw the early cc. Jangbi going dt drop! He bulds his robo + citadel at the same time. 2nd gate going up as well. Jangbi blocking his ramp with his zeal and now a goon while the first 2 goons poke around for scvs and then go to apply pressure. This pressure can be misleading. Nice job jangbi. Pressuring/ but not gving up his build or whether or not he expoed.

Shuttle is out. Jangbi takes his nat. 2 dts in the shuttle as it moves towards the t main. 1 turret going up there. 1 turret at the high ground making. OHH jangbi's shuttle arrive before its completed and take out a tank. WOW VERY NICE zeal + 3 GoON +2 STRIKE AT THE FRONT! TURRET TAKING DAMAGE, TURRET DOWN DESPITE REPAIR! Hwasin forced to lift his nat cc. 3 goons + 4 dts moving into the main. Hwasin making a desperation wall. Jangbi flys his shutle into a turret in order to get dts over it. THe goons run up scvs dying left and right, GREAT build by jangbi. Possibly a prepared hard counter to 1 fact cc?

Lol scv drill to block a group of speed lots from running into his 2 tanks (of doom). Jangbi just presses on though, many scvs die fighting bravely. 6dts comming now. Hwasin has 1 red tank...I think jangbi just might win this

Ok heres my report. July is the fucking man. STX Rapes. GG.
July absolutely crushed the zerg one vs one basically. Like TWO FREAKING SECONDS. Before blues first mutas hatch, july has 12 scourge by the eggs. As soon as the mutas hatch july clones all the scourge perfectly, 2 per muta. The other zergs mutas run all the way across the map before 5 of them are killed by scourge. From there july just runs over the zerg with way better muta/scourge micro easily.
The P also did a sick block with his probes to save his last cannon + trap 2 dts and kill them.
Oh wow. He ALSO blocked the other route (which the dts tried to take) to the cannon with goons and nice building placement from earlier in the game.

So far as I predicted, I hope my predictions won't be perfect and Stork doesn't lose to Kal, even though it's likely

This can somehow be considered as a final : if Stork wins, his team wins. So Stork will choke, and Hwasin gets his revenge over Jangbi in the ace match.

This should be asick game. Split tech paterns but both preparing for one another to followup. Kal getting early templar (to storm reavers) and stork looking to follow up with reavers. From TWO robos. So we will hopefully see a speed shuttle harass style with reavers. STORM DROP! LMAO! KAL TAKES OUT A HUGE AMOUNT OF PROBES, STORK COUNTERS WITH A 2 REAVER DROP AT THE BACK. THE SHUTTLE IS DOWN AT THE COST OF GOONS. HOLY FUCK MONSTER SCARAB GETS LIKE 9 PROBES. Great fucking targeting by stork.

Another storm drop at the cost of the shuttle. Gets like 6 or 7 probes. Kal's army moving out. Hes also a base up But hes attacking up hill. Great storms. Perfect coverage . Storks army is HUGE though and he moves out to counter Kal's 3rd. If this attack fails I dont see how stork can recover.

I would've sent Kal. JangBi was a clear choice for KHAN given how much Stork is sucking lately (all the silver medals eh?), and despite Kal "only" won 3-2 over him and the games were "close" , I think he's the far better player. Especially in PvP.
But well...Calm is ok...but he's better vs Terran, and this map isn't exactly great for ZvP, despite how people tend to say JangBi sucks in this matchup (I think he improved a lot lately in PvZ). We'll see.

I know that Calm will lose to fbh, but I didn't expect Hwasin to lose. I knew stx will own the next 2v2 and I was expecting Kal to lose, I dunno if he's declining or if the mu's are just tough. I was expecting July for ace, but no go.
