I suspect that the hotkey method will generate a lot of false positives. Of course one can rule out it's not person A or B. But you can't conclude that it must be person C. There's only so many ways you can use your hotkeys. Everyone wants this guy to be Boxer as well. So that's what we are biased towards. | ||

You are simply very wrong with you understanding about how hotkey signature works. Boxer has a very, very unique signature and apm range for mouse and keyboard. The only other player that comes close is Shudder, and they can be differentiated. In fact, just about every pro has a distinct hotkey signature, forged through tens of thousands of practice games. They *try* to keep the same hotkeys (matchup-specific, of course) and even the same hotkey timings by practicing every game. If Romad, who is the hotkey savant, confirms that it's Boxer, its 99.9999% Boxer. Often even progamers give replays to Romad to find out if their opponent was a smurf. His judgment in these cases is very reliable. | ||
