Shine expoes after 2 marines, drone scout spots it, 3 hatch build from GGplay (it may be a Bisu build, but not sure).

GGplay does a standard 12 hatch 11 pool, sends a scout in the wrong direction towards the opposite, meanwhile Shine does a depot --> 11 rax, 13 rax and sents a scv outside his nat to be afk . Shine builds a cc at his nat, quite unusualy BO. While ggplay still standard with 3 hatch. Academy is going up for Shine, about 5 marines at ramp.

Lings out for GGplay, 4 lings at ramp while 2 lings go out to scout, spots the scv and chases it Hatchery teching into lair, most probably he is going for spire --> muta. 2 firebats at shine's nat, OMFG 5 LINGS RUN INTO MAIN, MEANWHILE a group of MnM ATTACKS GGPLAY NAT and theres only 2 sunkens. Runs drones to defend but all is lost. Sunken down, GGplay GGS. WTH ?

Shine just stims and rolls over GGplay's sunks. That was fast. What happened with GGplay? This shouldn't have happened even if Shine didn't expand.

That was a very awful game from GGplay seriously.... Where were his lings ? Props to Shine for winning though.

Shine made more marines than usual with a FE build, and it seems he cut some SCVs, his count was kinda low.

Winners Match- Blue Storm forGG beach 1 Shine[Name] red 7
|
forGG does a depot 11 rax 12 gas, same goes for Shine up till now. Shine sends out scv to scout, 1 rine out and starts a factory. He lifts his barracks. forGG sends a scout and uses the rine the repel the scv, he also starts a factory. 2 rines at Shine's nat tries to kill forGG's scout but he just ran by. Both expands to nat, same build so far.

Shine builds a depot at the hill and lands the barracks beside it to make a blockade, sends out a vulture to scout. forGG's rax scouts Shine's Nat AND RINEs JUST STAND THERE ALLOWING IT TO MOVE. He is gonna scout the starport that Shine made. forGG sends out 5 vultures with upgraded speed, and he builds a academy. Control Tower researching cloak, so Shine is getting wraiths to harass. 1 wraith out and go straight to forGG's main, harassing scv. Rine gets killed by wraith. Goliaths out but just in the nick of time, cloak is researched and continues the harassment.

Shine lost a ton of vultures while charging into forGGs tanks in the middle of the map. forGG taking two more expansions at 6 and at bottom right.

forGG sets a mine field outside Shine's blockade. OMG both wraiths is killed carelessly.Shine pushes out with a group of vultures and kills all the mines outside with a scan. forGG also moves out witha group of vulture and 2 tanks. He starts sieging up at the hill seperating the 2 sides. 4 more tanks coming for forGG and Shine also comes in with tanks setting up a fort. Both side expands towards 11 and 5 respectively. forGG cleverly gets the vulture pass the fort and kills the scv at 11. While forGG also starts another cc at 6. DROP from Shine at forGG's main, with 4 vultures sets some mines but are destroyed. it dealt little dmg.

Four vultures found the expansion at bottom right, chase away the scvs before being pushed out by goliath / tank. Both players still sieged in the middle of the map, waiting patiently. Finally also starport for forGG.
Yet another group of vultures goes to bottom right and forestalls mining there. shine has claimed the top left expansion.

4 vultures sneak past to the 5 expo and kills scv. forGG sends out forces to repel them. Starport is building at min only for forGG. scv is killed but starport is finished building, Shine manage to scout it . 3 vultures manage to sneak into 5 expo again, killing scvs standing beside the siege tank. Shine starts a expo at 12. ANOTHER starport is build behind the min only for forGG, seems like Shine doesnt know about it, it is building wraiths. Big amount of tanks evenly spread out at Shine's side. forGG on the other hand has a smaller ground force. forGG starts another starport, seems like he is bend on using air to win this game.

Three dropships coming for GG's natural, kill two tanks and a ton of scvs until some tanks from the main and some shooting over the lower cliff take them out. Expansion at 12 is running for shine, he had some toruble with lowground tanks shooting at it but clears them out with his own group of tanks. Nearly a control group of wraith now for forGG, but he is also getting dropships.

3 DROPS AT forGG's NAT !! TANK SIEGES UP FOR BOTH SIDE BUT SHINE COMES OUT TOP, KILLS ALOT OF SCV. Meanwhile tanks are sieged at the bottom of the cliff at forGG's main, destroying the 12 expo of Shine. Shine brings 5 tanks and sieges up, starting the attack 1st, he kills all the tanks. 7 wraiths out for forGG, destroying the tanks at 12. but turrets are up, thus wraiths backs down. OMG SHINE ALSO HAS 4 STARPORT with ALL CONTROL TOWERS ADDED. This is gonna be a big battle for both side, but i predict Shine with more of a advantage. forGG DROPS the 12 expo with wraiths as support but it is repelled by Shine's force.

So the map is evenly split now, both mostly with metal forces. GG now with 3 dropships, going for something at the bottom of the map. Some siege wars going on in the middle of the map. Four starports with addons blinking and producing four Battlecruisers.

OMG, who begins building BCs in tvt against someone, who is massing wraiths? Noone? No, it is Shine.

forGG has attack+1 for wraiths. forGG pushes abit at the middle losing some vultures and a tank while Shine loses some too. OMFG BATTLE CRUISERS ARE OUT FOR SHINE. IT WILL BE WRAITHS VS BC. I believe Shine will come out on top due to superior ground force, we'll see. Shine has a big amt of turrets at main. forGG is looking for spots to drop but is moving back and forth, cant seem to find a good spot to drop. HE DROPS AT 12 WITH SUPPORT FROM TANKS AT BOTTOM AND WRAITHS. Most of the scv is killed but shine manage to repels it again, Shine is forced to lift the CC OMFG WRAITHS COME IN AND KILLS THE CC WITHIN SECONDS. about 6 Cruisers are out for Shine AND IS MOVING TOWRADS 12.

forGG's concerted assault takes down the 12 expo from shine. He basically dropped, went in with wraiths and sieged up at low ground at the same time, overall a pretty neat attack. Six battlecruisers visible for me, supported by tank / goliath. Tanks sieging outside of the 12 expo where GG is trying to build up an expansion. Maybe 15 wraiths for him and he has been adding more starports without addon.
Yamato sniping starts at 12. Wraiths go in but get scanned and mutilated by goliaths.

GG lost a bunch of wraiths assaulting the BCs despite the goliaths, but killed - dont know, maybe 1-2? Yet he has one more mining base, so in the long run he might prevail with this method.

forGG tries to start a cc at 12 but is being destroyed by just 2 tanks sieged outside. Theres 5 tanks at 12 for forGG. WRAITHS MOVE IN TO KILL 1 BC. Shine scans and kills a few wraiths ! Shine has alot of turrets everywhere fearing of the wraiths i guess. Shine sieges some tanks at entrance of 12, destroying the turrets set up by forGG and tanks there. Big wraith force CLOAKS AND GOES IN TO ATTACK but SHINE REPELS IT EASILY with lots of wraiths being destroyed trading for 2 BCS i think. WoW i think there werer 7 Starports for forGG. Shine is looking to take back the 12 expo for gas for his BCS. forGG replenishes his lost wraith force easily with 7 ports.

forGG wraiths destroys the cc moving into 12. and INVADES the 11 EXPO ! It is replled by some goliaths and backs BUT MEETS THE BCS in the middle. A battle is fought with forGG being repelled but not taking away 3 BCS at least !

gg has a beautiful row of 7 starports at the right hand of the map, all without addons, neatly arranged. Shine clears out the towers and CC of GG at 12, but his own CC being floated there is being shot down by the flock of wraiths. Wraiths continue to top left but are trapped by goliath / BC. On the way back, wraiths encounter BCs on their own, kill 2-3 while losing a lot on their own. 12 is still being fought about.

Shine rebuilds the cc at 12 expo, with BCS yamatoing the tanks. Shine has a good amount of goliaths. forGG unsieges tanks in middle and gathers up with wraiths. He pushes abit and sieges, destroying 1-3 tanks of Shine. forGG has QUITE A SMALL ground force with only 7 tanks and 2 goliaths ?

forGG is almost mined out while shine has 12 and top left. I have the feeling that the wraiths wont be enough in this case, especially since their are towers littered over the WHOLE map.

Big wraith group for forGG with about 30+ wraiths at least with a 3-3 upgrade WoW !! HE GATHERS SCV READY TO MOVE IN AS CANNON FODDER! !!! SHINE SCANS AND KNOWS ABOUT IT, he got the 12 expo up again for him. WRAITH DOES A SMALL ATTACK AND KILLS 2 BC and ESCAPING UNHARMED ! forGG moves in with scv but all dies for nothing ... Shine still rebuilding BCS. forGG doing a good job keeping the BC count low, wasting Shine's resources. THis is gonna be a long-drawn out battle.He moves in more scvs , seems like he just wants to clear supply rather than going for a big attack.

forGG totally mined out while Shine still has minerals at min only, 12 and 11. Shine has 4 valkyries. Seems like is all gonna be decided on air force. forGG starports start lighting up again after freeing up the supply of scvs. THAT IS A VERY BIG AMOUNT OF WRAITHS for forGG ! SHINE DOES A DROP AT FORGG's NAT !! WITH 12 GOLIATHS AND BCS AS SUPPORT, SHINE'S FORCES GETS WIPED OUT EASILY AND OUTNUMBERED BY WRAITHS. I THINK FORGG HAS THIS GAME !!

That is why you DONT want to build BCs against wraiths. Because BC suck badly against wraiths.

forGG WRAITHS MOVES IN TO 12 EXPO AND ATTACKS but is repelled by shine's goliaths. forGG is still able to replenish back his lost wraiths easily due to lots of minerals and gas. WRAITHS MOVES INTO MIDDLE, but backs again for some odd reason. forGG wraiths is movin around aimlessly, same goes to Shine. forGG sieges up tanks and destroy 2 turrets. Shine only has 4 BCS, and about a group of tanks and a group of goliaths, while forGG has like a group of tanks and 3-4 groups of wraiths. Shine is easily out numbered

TANKS SIEGES IN MIDDLE AND DESTROYS TURRETS. forGG is slowly advancing in the middle he is definitely in the advantage. starport still replenishing lost wraiths, same goes for Shine replenishing BCS. forGG slowly taking out tanks with wraiths and moves in with his own tanks to destroy turrets.

forGG apparently used the liberated supply to add tank numbers, pushing through the middle against Shine's diminished forces. Shine might be mining at 12, but it looks like a matter of time until that is broken. Four valks for Shine now.

I belive the last battle will be at the 12 expo, Shine gathers up his forces while forGG moves into the 12 expo for the attack. Valkyries proving to be useful in destroying wraiths. Shine yamatos tanks. Shine has 4.7k minerals and 700 gas from the fpvod, while forgg has 6k minerals and cant see the gas number lol. forGG has only 4 tanks, seems like he is low on gas and bent on replenishing his wraiths only. 1 more yamato at tank and 3 tanks left for forGG. Will forGG lose this battle ?

If I saw it correctly, both have quite a bunch of minerals left - so neither is going to be starved overly soon. Would love to see some ghost action though, like in FBH vs. Up.

and Shine does it. So we learned a totally new thing: wraiths en masse do not work. At least not against mass towers or BCs backed with Goliaths.

forGG scans the middle and sees the BC yamatoing, he tries to move in to kill but Shine backs quickly, saving his BC. Close call. SHINE MOVES IN AS HE KNOWS FORGG HAS A SMALL GROUND FORCE ! SHINE's 12 EXPO JUST MINED OUT. SHINE MIGHT WIN HERE OMFG ? forGG takes a espionage team of 5 wraiths and kills 2 tanks b4 backing ! THE BATTLE ENSUES WITH FORGG LOSING !! ALL HIS GROUND FORCES AND WRAITHS DUE TO GOLIATHS MOSTLY.
What an exciting game i must say. I'll be stopping the live report here as i have to eat dinner, Aesop hope you can take it from here thanks !

So, definitely no more terran mirrors! Poor secondary races are battling it out for the spot in loser's final. ForGG wiping his hands and preparing to get utterly raped utterly rape the protoss enemy.
Map is Blue Storm again, obviously. Stats showing a general bias towards Zerg here (~60% win), this is the map after all where Savior was almost resurrected!
Top spot: Blue Protoss. Bottom spot: Purple Zerg.

Yet another hatch at left hand expansion for Z. Protoss obviously with gateway / nexus / cannon warping at his natural. Zerg no fighting units so far, but whatfor anyway ... Both have their natural running, protoss maynarding, everything as usual. Core finishes for Jaehoon and stargate underway.

Corsair out for Jaehoon, finds an uncareful overlord. GGplay has upgraded to lair at his natural. Jaehoon with templar archives, spire morphing for jaehoon. Second overlord falls above the natural, now two corsairs searching for flying elephant prey. Jaehoon adding some DTs and HTs. Hydra den finally for GGplay and some colonies around his expos.

Corsairs kill overlord at top left so a DT is left free to reign. Kills a drone and a sunken colony. Mutas chase him away before he can finish the hatchery.
So, in general: Jaehoon with a small corsair fleet, zealots + 1 archon + temps. +1 attack is researched. GGplay with 3 expansions opposed to the single protoss, went for some initial mutas but is now going for hydra / lurker with evo chamber upgrading. Robo bay for Jaehoon.
Corsairs win a battle against mutas at top left, but a spore stops them from doing further damage. Protoss claiming right hand side expo.

My stream lagged for a second, now the picture is interesting: Protoss has a sizable ground force, zerg is just now adding more hatcheries to the mix.
Protoss force with 1 group goons, 1 group zeals, some archon / temp support moves out towards top left, Z sending hydra / lurker up and frantically morphing sunkens.

Instead of going straight for 12 he rather goes into the left hand side expo. 3 evo chambers shown for Z. Protoss heavy on goons now, seems undecided which base to take on.

Is Jaehoon's zealot a model or something ? because all the zealots were just afk there watching his dragoons die and templars die to the sunkens and lings and hydras at the min only expo.

Horrible attack for the toss - he sent his goons in first, taking hits from lurkers and sunkens, adding some half-assed storms and generally not progressing any further. Where were the zealots? Zerg with 6 hatcheries around that expansion, now going big management style. Finally P makes a move towards the top left expansion, cutting off z reinforcements for a moment, taking down the sunkens but getting chased away by z reinforcements. Greater spire up now and guardiands morphing over the protoss ntaural.

Guardians chase away the probes at protoss natural, no resistance offered. Protoss finally shows some half-decent storms in a skirmish between left hand expo and top left. But still he is not stopping the Z from mining and his goons get overwhelmed by lings.

When Jaehoon had this sizable ground force, I thought he might have a shot in this - but his attack management was sort of poor and he allowed his opponent to macro up.

Actually GGplay is famous for his late game management. So that isn't suprising. It was most evident in his defilier use when he won his title.

So, final game is on. The gg-brothers meet on python to determine who makes it out of this group. GGplay is on 1 o'clock, for_GG starts off at 8. Nothing unusual happening yet, except for FORGG SENDING SCVS AND ONE RINE for a rush. Some drones are cruising around as a counter, in total maybe 6, get a marine, hatchery at natural finishes and forGG retreats. I would say forGG had the better end of this deal, as GGplay did not have that many drones and suffered a greater economic setback.

ForGG still with single barracks, adding an academy now and has gas running. GGplay getting sunken at his natural. Ten marines parading in front of the terran ramp (see a pattern?). One medic joins them and they are heading up. GGplay sends lings to counter, gets spotted by a firebat which is microed out of the way.
ForGG is expanding, lings kill 2 firebats and the rine force comes back to defend the expansion.

Spire going up for GGplay, he has 3 hatches now and is getting his 2nd gas at his main just now. force of a control group rines with medics is almost ready to strike but mutas are morphing now. As the rines move out, zerglings bypass them and go mad in forGGs main base.
Eventually those lings are disposed of, but Mutas are incoming now. forGG adding towers, but Mutas will still do dmg. Zerg expanding to 3 expo.

Mutas ineffectual so far, GGplay adding hydra den, evo chamber and some more hatcheries. His mutas are just not doing much right now, but he is getting the lurker switch going anyway.
MM force assembling in the middle of the map, scifac going up for t, tanks being added to the mix.
Both massing up, Queen's nest ready and hive morphing.

Second engbay started for forGG, he might eventually make a move towards the zerg natural. Held lurkers get 1-2 rines there, but forGG did not move in. Counter force is stopping reinforcements in front of terran natural, about 4 lurkers there which get damaged by tanks now.
Terran forward force getting sandwiched and gruesomely raped. Many lurkers around now and defilers should not be far.

forGG sieging the Z natural, defilers are out. A drop at 3 is intercepted by scourge and barely manages to drop 3 rines. Despite the setbacks, the terran ball is still growing - but he needs another base soon.
Swarm and lurkerling push back the terran force to his natural. Map control for the zerg who is approaching the T natural with swarm / lurker / ling now.

Ultra cavern finally coming. Terran moving towards the 3 expansion with a sizable force, takes down the defenders and continues to the main hatchery there. His rines get plagued twice with varying success, so he will be able to take down the base there but will lose them eventually.
Terran expands to the min only next to his base, three stop lurkers rape many scvs.
Ultras now for the z. no carapace yet, rines on 2-2 grades.

Rine force finds the hidden 6 expansion of zerg, takes it down before nydus channel can finish. Battles going on in the middle between MM and newly built ultras. Vultures are out now, combatting dark swarm with mines.
So, ForGG might take this actually, he did a good job avoiding the various zerg traps around the map. To prove me wrong, he loses 2 vessels to scourge.

Once again, GGplay's late game is a beautiful thing. Too bad he will probably lose anyways

MM force cleans out the min only next to GGplays base. Yet another two terrans advance to MSL, if nothing extraordinary happens. GGplay is fighting with swarm for the ground, but in the long run he wont have a chance against a terran who is one expansion ahead.

And GGplay is out. forGG showed really solid ball-massing and managed not to get overwhelmed by the swarm when the first darkswarms were out

Well, forGG did a decent job at macroing, but I somehow have the impression that GGplay didn't make the most of his advantage when the swarm was out.
Anyway, the depressing fact of the day: 13-9-4. And three more groups with TTZP configuration with oov, Sea, ... So don't expect it to stay on 13. If Sangho, Jangbi and Kal don't make it (Kal has maybe the best shot of the three), then Anytime will be the only Protoss qualifying from survivor. And fall is over
