i'd say the ultra switch is what cost luxury the game. ruby hit in that small window of opportunity when luxury was getting the ultras, and managed to do a tonne of damage to him. also luxury forgetting defilers was quite a silly mistake. swarm would've helped him defend easily.

Luxury must have thought he was further ahead than he was and stubbornly refused to make defilers after the ultra den popped. One lonely defiler would have halted Ruby's attack on the nat and won the game for Lux.

Luxury actually could have won the game, his early/mid game control was fabulous, but what lost him the game was the transition to ultra, which he kinda stopped getting lurkers and lings as you can see, also i felt that he could have build 1-2 more hatch at his main, he should have minerals. Also after all his defilers died at his nat, he just concentrate on getting ultras and lings without defilers, hoping to kill/chase the terran off, and obviously didnt work. Lux needs to work on his late game management i guess.

stork vs ruby on blue storm
stork at 8
ruby at 2

stork starts pylon and gateway at choke, narrowing it slightly. scouts after pylon, and steals ruby's gas. almost gets an SCV as well. but ruby repairs it. stork lets his assimilator warp in. and he's doing some crazy harassment on the rax building SCV. stork gets an scv with his probe, but loses it to a marine. zealot moving down ruby's main, and stork starts an expo. 3 marines for ruby, stork retreats. ruby's refinery is just started. he stops mining gas and starts his nat before his factory.

fac started for ruby. 2nd gate and core spinning for stork. 2 fac for ruby. stork's zealots at his choke prevented ruby's SCV from entering his main, so he has no idea what stork is getting.

stork starts his mineral only. ruby with 2 fac both researching probably vulture upgrades. +3 gate for a total of 5 for stork, and robotics facility coming. stork holding the high ground area above the nat of ruby with 3 zeal and 3 goon, preventing vult harass. speed vults get past though. 4 of them. and they move toward stork's min only. that is defended with 4 goon. he drives past them and goes straight for storks nat. doing some minor damage there. couple of probes and a goon down. armory and academy for ruby done, but he's still 2 fac. he has started 3rd CC in main to float to his mineral only. stork starting citadel.

ruby starting 4 fac for a total of 6. stork positioning his goons at the high ground above ruby's mineral only. looks like he'll attack with shuttle goon. not a very good idea i'd say. 6 tanks defending. stork loses his whole army of about 1 group of goon and shuttle zeal, but he takes out 5 defending tanks. ruby's min only goes up in the meantime. stork taking top left and starting stargate.ruby taking the opportunity to push with vult tank he's doing quite well with it, and has pushed stork back.

stork starting a 2nd stargate and a fleetbeacon. ruby going up to about 8 fac now. i'd say its not looking good for stork. the carriers will be late, and he'slosing his army. to mass vult now. more vults and tanks coming down for ruby and stork loses yet another few crucial goons to vults. fpview of ruby shows that he has quite a scary number of tank/vult. he has also taken bottom right expo. 2 carriers out for stork now. ruby should really be attacking instead of holding in the middle of the map. once stork gets too many carriers he's fucked. stork taking 12. has an army of about 8 goon and 1.5 group of zealot.

ruby is taking 6 base in the meantime. stork's army is small compared to ruby's. stork denying the expo attempt at 6 with his carriers. 4 carriers out for him now. using them to snipe at ruby's land units, but he has many gol so stork is forced to retreat. adding a 4th stargate now. and a 2nd core. 5 carriers for stork. all the waiting is not doing good for ruby at all. stork at his nat harassing now.

ruby forced to transfer his SCVs away from his nat. now carrier + stork's land army engages the huge land army of ruby. he loses all his zealots, and escapes with about a group of goon. but ruby's numbers have dwindled quite a bit, and he is forced to retreat as he loses all his goliath. now pushing in mid again after reinforcing with goliaths. 4 stargate for stork flashing. and his carriers are now taking out the turrets at the 6 base. about 2 groups of goliath come for ruby and they force stork to retreat. ruby's army still looking pretty dangerous. stork once again at 6, and ruby has to pull his goliaths back there to defend again. stork's bases looking dangerously low on mineral, and ruby is denying his expo at 12 very well.

now ruby moving out with a huge gol/tank army. tanks are caught in the open with support, so he loses a few of them before he gets them to the cover of his goliath. about 3 group of goliath and 5 tanks moving down for ruby. hitting stork's mineral only. not looking good for stork. but he's trying to hold with DTs. stork's mineral only goes down, but so does the nat of ruby. another group of carriers taking out the 6 base of ruby. stork in the main of ruby taking out factories. ruby getting cloaked wraiths. army in stork's main now. taking out everything. he loses all his factories in the meantime, and mass DTs are reducing his army size. tank at the top left expo takes down all the probes/cannons there, but stork has 12 base up.
