You can't defend a ling-allin with just 2 cannons, you need at least three, good blocking, and fast reactions with nice micro  I think this allin was a bit delayed, so even 4 cannons would have been needed. But I don't know, when I see more than 6 lings at my choke with speed, I just add more cannons...if he isn't doing an all-in, but faking, I don't get behind that much (considering he spend drones mining time / money on lingspeed), and if he's indeed doing an all-in, I can defend.So Stork (imo) just read Jaedong plain wrong. Lingspeed doesn't cost him much... plus who would actually get 4 cannons unless they predicted hydras. | ||

Stork didnt really expect a all-in ling since its kinda uncommon aside from hydra-all in. he thought bisu build > zerg, apparently not. But still it is luxury who won the game, not stork who lost it. | ||

by the end he had a citadel, I think, and was probably getting legs; so, for extra cannons, cut probe production, or sacrifice tech? | ||
