If Mini beats Queen and Light beats Hero, which are totally possible, Rush would have the best chance he's ever had to become champion. Far from being the strongest player in the tournament but the bracket lines up quite nicely for him.

Rush has >50% of winning against both Mini // ZerO.
Unfortunately, Light or hero will crush him. At least hes seeded for next season.

Rush is the next Flash. I have thought this for a long time but am now even more sure if it. I’m not sure about his TvT because I avoid watching it like the plague, but Rush is as good as Light in TvZ and TvP right now. TvP he is especially scary IMO. I think when Flash comes back, Rush may not only be the best Terran but the best BW player in the world

That 2nd TvZ was such a fun game, I loved Rush's pure bio build no matter what zerg throws at you and his macro rocked. Nice fight and endurance by zerg but overall Rush read SoMa like a book. The New Terran, The Future terran, ASL12CHAMPRUSH incoming!

Soma looked shooked after game 2. Rush did a role reversal and unleashed the fury of the swarm with his endless hordes of marines. Ro8 has been a lot of fun so far.

I cannot believe Rush attacked into 9 sunks and guardians flanking AND came out on top (with the reinforcements). I wouldn't be able to make that calculation in a million years, gotta be pure instinct.

1 base lurker was such a weird build. I wonder why Soma chose to use that.

Just want to say that ive been a fan and friends of tastosis since the x17 days, but nyoken's work need to be recognized. Both his knowledge and passion for brood war are awesome, and he is very fluid. A joy to listen, keep it up mate

Rush was convincing and decisive in his aggression, kind of makes me think of a Terran version of JD of old, if that doesn't sound weird. I love the play style, seems like high risk, high reward, so fun to watch.
For Scan and Nyoken - you guys are by far the best thing that has happened to foreign BW. I hope you keep the passion and desire to teach us all.

ASL is tournament, that's why players choose some builds that his opponents could be surprised. Soma would have a chance if he killed comsat at nature however Rush would have more time to defend.

When I play my games in ladder. I usually think that I am playing 7th game in the final ASL or 5th game in the final OSL. So I often use 14 CC vs Toss, BBS vs Zerg, 2 Fac into Siege Tank rush vs Terran.

Enjoyable series but was hopeful Soma would do better, somehow after game 2 he seemed to lose all confidence.

Agree on Scan and Nyoken too, this was something I did not realise how much I needed until recently, every single game from them I feel like I'm learning something, they're so sharp and on point and know the scene so well, it's an absolute joy listening to them.

Interesting games. Great pressure by Rush in G2 and good hold in G4 although I have no idea what that 1h lurker strat was supposed to be. Felt like something Kwanro would try...

I agree! Their cast is so good. Pointing out all the timings and hints is such a big help.

Rush finally makes it to the semifinals after so long, well done! Soma threw quite the curve balls and Rush knocked it out of the park. This series did feel slightly underwhelming considering I had high hopes for a lot of late game macro TvZs, but the breadth of strategies used was a breath of fresh air at least. Not sure what Soma was thinking when he went 1 base lurker on Polypoid, but interesting nonetheless. Tough for Soma, but hopefully he comes back stronger next season. TvZ also seemed like his weakest matchup even when he made his ASL debut.

Extremely impressive series by Rush there especially on Revolver, his apm was 400+ when he was attacking Soma's third, constantly microing and reinforcing with marines, don't think his minerals every crossed 500-600. Crazy play!
